9/4/2025 5:41am The bleed cup is part of the bleed kit, purchased separately. It's a very nicely made part (cup and plunger). Here it is in action:

9/3/2025 11:53am The newer sealed damper is very similar to the previous open bath version. Intend basically put a rubber bladder over the damper body, the compression unit still comes off in one piece from the bottom of the leg. The shim stacks are quite different however, the older version had a stiffer compression and a softer rebound tune. There is also (as of 2025 or so) a new LSC needle that is different from before. It has a slightly wider range, smaller adjustment steps (17 clicks vs 11), and closes off the LSC circuit more than the previous version.

9/3/2025 11:52am Thanks, that's good info. I'm considering trying these at some point. Do they actually include a bleed cup now or is it still a secondary part?

9/3/2025 11:51am I never felt like the old, open-lever bleed process was that much of a hassle to begin with, apart from the little puddle of brake fluid that invariably ends up on the floor, but yes the new bleed port makes the whole thing much cleaner for sure. I've always been able to get really good bleeds without any trouble with Hope brakes, so the port is just more convenient and less messy (the process itself doesn't change, you still do a top-down bleed by pushing fluid through the system from the lever and out of the caliper end). The bleed...

9/2/2025 4:52pm How is the bleed process in comparison to the old process? Does the new bleed port help? You feel like power is about the same?

8/30/2025 9:56am That article smells paid advertisement for miles. Given the fact you can get Podium USD at 10-25% discount these days, i guess its some damage control from Fox for sitting on too much stock with a bad reputation.

8/30/2025 9:56am So is poor bushing fit and chassis bind now a "good thing"? Saying you don't notice bushing bind in a fork that has never been ridden without the bushings binding is pretty funny. https://www.pinkbike.com/news/comment-fork-alignment-and-friction-in-th…

8/30/2025 9:54am Darren, I feel like you probably already know this, or at least you should already know it, but this is a ridiculous claim and isn’t a defensible patent based on prior art. There are multiple previously existing fenders for inverted forks have attached the fender to the stanchion guards. Off the top of my head: 1.The Manitou Dorado has had fender a fender that is integrated into the stanchion guards since at least 2019. 2. The EXT Vaia Has a similar type of fender that attaches to the stanchion guards. 3. There are a multitude of motorcycle forks the have...

8/19/2025 6:43am I believe lower leg replacement from Intend is only 70 Euro, so very reasonable. It's the whole back and forth from Germany that could add some time and money.

8/19/2025 6:43am lower legs are made of cheese compared to stanchions. FWIW, the original intend stanchions are rather hard to score..(during transport, when most of shit happens anyway).

8/18/2025 8:29am You guys should take the arguing to PMs so you can effectively yell into the same echo chamber. In here, we should discuss upside down suspension stuff. You know, "Stranger things, season 4, forks and stuff"

8/11/2025 12:52pm I had typed out a big post to this thread... and somehow hit refresh and lost it. So I'm going give the abbreviated version... I have been testing a 170mm push 9.1 (v1 with the air hbo) for the last week and have 4 rides on it. I have been testing it on my SC bullit so that I could get a lot of descending in on it. Here's the short summary: Spring Rate: I'm 175lbs running a green spring (50lb) with 40psi in the air bottom out. I'm technically on the stiff side as the green spring spans 185-210...

7/31/2025 6:09pm TBF, leverage rates change (increasing, generally) on all brakes as the lever gets position closer to the bar. This ain't a Sram thing.

7/30/2025 11:01am Unfortunately not yet, other than in the driveway. There are a few other projects to take care of first, but soon! There are some slight updates between forks; the brake hose guide is now a compression molded carbon piece instead of simply being cut from a carbon plate, and the rebound knob is bigger and easier to turn. Compared to the Edge, the Flash crown is larger and has more overlap on the legs.

7/28/2025 1:56pm Can people redo that drop out test by tightening the pinch bolts incrementally instead of torquing one down completely before doing the other? I know the manual doesn't say that but its the proper way to tighten any pinch bolt system
