Awesome boys! Thanks for the feedback! I was in contact with them before buying, asking exactly these questions about stiffness as theres like 5? enduro forks in their lineup. telling them my riding profile, etc... answer was that the increase in stiffness was marginal, not noticable irl (only in the teststand) and if my mind allowed it i should go...

I haven't properly ridden the Edge but hopefully its okay I still comment. I'm pushing the Flash as much as I can. why go the length/price then under-fork for no reason? "I own a Tahoe, why downgrade to a TrailBlazer?" same to Flash v Edge -classic hubs are stiffer than vesper, especially TC's. and 541 is incredibly stiff rim. too much for me but to each their own :D Contrary; I run flash blackline with onyx vesper (non TC) and Zipp 3zero moto on 1.6 comp race spokes... Probably the flexiest rim/wheel combo in the world and I wouldn't change...

The hub makes a big difference. My Essential is three fiddy times more flexy at 170mm with my Onyx than with my TA Hadleys.

I'm glad that we have a differing opinion. You are the quad-fecta of: 1) the wrong hub without a solid front axle, 2) higher rider weight, 3) longer travel fork setting, and 4) trail conditions. I think anyone on an e-bike, over 180#s, over 170mm travel better wait for the Flash 38. And anyone regardless of those conditions, better also chose a front hub with a solid front axle design. The next question is: how much improvement you can experience with JUST a front hub swap?

I got myself a 25 my Edge (180mm) with the original dropouts to be compatible with all of my torque cap wheel sets. As much as I want to love this fork, I really struggle in flat tight corners and off camber sections, where I am missing support/security/grip. Sometimes line choice is an issue -especially in off camber root sections...

Owned a blackline Intend edge for some time, never really jived with it. I am a heavier rider (200lbs geared up). Things I didn't get along with the fork - 1. The compression tune was too light from factory, though I did fix that later on. On flatter rides it feels great but never quite gave the confidence to charge in more demanding scenarios. 2. On slow & steep tech sections the "compliance" built into the usd design becomes a bit unnerving - especially when trying to turn with a lot of weight on the front wheel. Sometimes the handlebar...

Darren, I feel like you probably already know this, or at least you should already know it, but this is a ridiculous claim and isn’t a defensible patent based on prior art. There are multiple previously existing fenders for inverted forks have attached the fender to the stanchion guards. Off the top of my head: 1.The Manitou Dorado has had fender a fender that is integrated into the stanchion guards since at least 2019. 2. The EXT Vaia Has a similar type of fender that attaches to the stanchion guards. 3. There are a multitude of motorcycle forks the have...

Unfortunately not yet, other than in the driveway. There are a few other projects to take care of first, but soon! There are some slight updates between forks; the brake hose guide is now a compression molded carbon piece instead of simply being cut from a carbon plate, and the rebound knob is bigger and easier to turn. Compared to the Edge, the Flash crown is larger and has more overlap on the legs.
