Add pressure to the shock. I find that balancing front and rear can be tricky because changes at one end affect the other. Increasing pressure on the rear shock will lower the travel usage and help prevent bottom out. I find that if the rear end is too soft I use less fork travel since the bike can just leverage against the rear shock instead of the fork moving.

As long as we are comparing bikes to cars, I feel like its worth bringing up "sensible" builds and the fact that the industry responds somewhat by offering them. Maybe I am pipe dreaming but if the US had fewer walls around vehicle imports/laws and the companies stopped their cartel behavior we could see the $10,000 "Ripmo AF" Toyota Truck here. I wonder if we will see more automaker behavior from the bike industry in the coming years.

The grip 2 seems to choke and end up a bit harsh no matter how you set it up. Bumps just felt sharp in the hands.

My 2c after three months / over 500 miles on the Essential: it feels almost too good to be true initially, but the performance of the fork doesn't degrade over time and as you get used to its slightly different feeling (and a longer offset in my case), it just rides better and better. I too have had problems with hands going numb and the Essential is giving me the best riding comfort of all forks I've ridden so far without sacrificing performance and stability.

Paper products from Germany can only mean one thing, new fork day! This is the Intend Flash 35, it can be run from 160mm to 190mm. Very similar to the Edge; but with a more robust crown, longer legs, and slightly different uppers. Another follow up. I have now had this fork on a few rides. I texted cornelius once again about the small bump sensitivity and i got a very quick reply again. This fork was laying around for quite a while and he advised me tho loosen up the screw on the top of the air side and move the stanchions. Apparently there was fairly much air traped and it neede to go. Ever since i did this, the fork has been flawless and got a very nice small bump performance. I don’t know about all of that I just know that the more outstretched your index finger is, the more strain there will be on your forearm. Being able to ride with that index finger curled closer to the bar reduces that strain immensely.

Yeah that's brake setup 101 IMO, people who run their brakes half a mile away from their bars are cooked.

Sorry but have to respond to this. Who would spend thousands of dollars on a bike from a company in self-administration? You are taking a massive gamble on warranty and even spare parts. As far as I am concerned, they are no longer a viable bike brand.
