Craig Stikman Glaspell is one of the most influential people in the mtb industry. Ex GT world cup mechanic from the mid 90's and been involved in the industry ever since. Last 8 years has been with troy lee designs (current role is Global Category Director / Bicycle). If anyone should be able to name a pro level rider from anywhere in the world its Stickman.

I respect Chris Ball and all he has built with EWS. I believe most of his intentions on the partnership are positive. That said, handed the rule book over to the UCI (yes he said 'partnership' but we all know how heavy handing the UCI is) and adding more bureaucratic commissaires to the events is a dangerous slippery slope in my opinion. Much of the EWS appeal was it's lack of UCI oversight and repressive meddling. Many see this partnership as a deal with the devil in all honesty

Literally the very first question in Kevin Menard's (co owner of Transition) Inside Line is about Kaos and Tahnee for 2019. He confirms both are signed through 2019. Nobody on Vital listen to the Inside Line Podcasts? Haha

Maes though! We already knew he's got the speed here, but still...it takes some doing to just pop in from your busy EWS schedule, jump on your big bike and pull out a top 10 qualifying spot against the very best riders in the world who all happen to also know this track by heart.
