Aero will come. There is so much aero to be gained on a DH bike. Crying foul over the Fox speed suits is pretty silly, seeing how tight kits have gotten over the years. They just did it better than everyone else. Someone will probably think body armour is creating poor aero profiles under tight jerseys and start sculpting those too. I'm waiting for someone to find a way around the moto visor rule or try to reshape one in order to find some aero gain that is surely there. Style before tenths of a second! It's such a shame...

I’ve been dying for a light bike with long chain stays. I hate that my enduro bike climbs better than my tiny bike from a geo perspective (obvi not from weight or kinematics). Not wheelie-ing out on technical climbs on a 28lb bike is my dream. Really hope they can keep the weight down and not make it too DH focused by trying to slack it out too much or have a low BB. Could be a real winner!

For me the biggest upside of Reserve Fillmore valve was the ease of popping tubeless tires with just a floor pump. Living in an apartment mean compressor is not really an option and it's annoying to go poke my LBS just to pop my tires. I got some Clik valves on the way to try this year so we will see if they can also pop most tire with just a floor pump.

The Fillmore valve is quite nice as you can take it apart pretty quickly to clean the gunk out. Tend to do it a couple of times a year.

The podcast plays a big oart in It, at least for me (I'm a spaniard). You get a look behind the scenes and to "live" the WC thru his eyes, so there is a familiarity that others don't have, add to that he is a cool cat , normal dude and you get why he's loved around these parts. In a sense he is a Vital Rider.

His contributions to the B-Practice podcast are probably a big reason that Vital favors him (Just like people here love Jesse M. because he actually posts in the forum periodically). It makes them feel like they're "one of your own." Shocking... do good PR things that expand your audience and let people get to know you... and you increase your fan base and marketability. I think people really appreciate his perspective, combined with Tanner and Jason, on the races and racing in general. It's one of the more interesting podcasts to me. Personally, I'm not American, so that doesn't play into it at all. Winning doesn't make you likeable. Dak presents as a nice guy and people like that. Having a bit of a unique set up could also play into it, but I think it's mostly just the nice guy thing. People also love an underdog and a comeback story, so everyone's been cheering him on as he's steadily improving after his injuries last year.

Dak said on the new pod that he was gonna troll us with a bike in the background that Frida will be riding this year. So Frida will be on AG's setup this year it looks like. Not surprising considering they're friends and she spent a lot of time in the pits with them last season. It will be cool to see what she can do with some more support.
