If you clip the two cables coming from one side together and space the two pairs from opposite side wide appart enough, it'll be silent. FWIW, how do you mount non-Sram shifter on Mavens, Motive and late model Codes? Is there enough space between the reservoir cover and bar to fit a clamp there?

After 5 years of riding and living with Dominions on a daily basis I wouldn’t change a thing. Have to give Hayes credit for not following the lemmings and routing the hose next to the bar ‘because it looks cleaner but rattles’ like the two S’s

IMO people are right to be concerned as to whether or not these are stamped. With as tight of tolerances as modern brakes have between pads and rotors, even tiny wobbles in the rotors will cause rub. Warped rotors can also cause the brake to feel squishy unless you manage to center the caliper over the average deflection (otherwise one side of pistons will engage before the others). There's plenty of other companies selling laser cut rotors in the ~$65 range, so no reason why a premium brand should be selling stamped rotors these days.

That main pivot pinch bolt opening looks primed to let all the mud and water directly on top of the bearing. As well as the charging port facing wheel spray. Just a couple of observations from the UK perspective.

With how sensitive 1x derailleurs became to misalignment of the hanger, it makes sense to beef up the mount. Either do it directly (transmission) or the way 8pins does it. Frames are also much stronger today than they were before, especially if you have an UDH mount.

And most of the time they were standing mostly on the axle anyway. It never seemed that impressive. But a good bit they managed to get all these reviewers do for no real reason.

The edges are rounded on both sides. Stamping/shearing does not normally produce that result.

My wife's bike was creaking under power. Surely it's the BB. We swapped wheels mid ride to rule out the rear axle, wheel, etc. Same. I removed, regreased and put back together the crank (including the sprocket). Same. Replaced the crank with a different one. Same. Checked if all pivots are tight, no problems. Tried to knock out the press...

Any experience with mounting them to a non round hole handlebar? It'll likely pull it off centre, right? Also, did they say anything about plans to make an integrated grip-bar end lockon combo?

Correct, they are just two piece, but are firmly riveted. In that regard the new centerlock rotors are exactly the same. Previously Shimano did make 2-piece 6-bolt rotors too to save some weight and have a stiffer rotor? They would need it with IceTech anyway because of the middle aluminium layer which doesn't do much for stiffness. So I guess...
Confirmation they are stamped? The pics I saw of rotors mounted on WC bikes showed edges radiused on both sides. That does not happen from simple stamping, a secondary operation would be needed.

Tinfoil hat alert: the switch to 55mm chainline for sram transmission is laying the groundwork for 13 speed as sram's next MTB drive train innovation.

Entire drivetrain industry scared that they already made the best mechanical components years ago and there is little room for improvement. Sandbagging the weight and material preserves the tier structure.
