I would love to see their kinematic charts for that one. It looks like it is pretty low leverage, 55mm stroke for 135mm of travel, 2.4 average leverage rate

Get rid of every E that isn’t the regulator
release an updated repeater with avanox
Potentially combine the Sentinel and smuggler?
HOPEFULLY not true but drop 10 to 20% of their employees to save money

What’s really good about modular dropouts is that you’re able to get around a lot of manufacturing issues while providing a huge amount of adjustment just like fox did with their glide core. You can also still retain the ability to use transmission unlike Flip chips (except for pivot they kinda have that figured out, but it’s not exactly the same)
The bad thing about them is having to stock so many different length ones to accommodate multiple rear end lengths.
Better than stocking multiple complete rear ends to cover different chainstay lengths...

IIRC chainstays are normally the same length, they just move the main pivot backwards on the front triangle to increase the CS length.

When you are doing 5 mm per size or even across the range, yes. If you want to do 20 mm jumps between sizes for example, you're not doing that by mounting the same rear end in different locations. You have different rear ends.
FWIW, both my previous and current Bird, while having the same chainstays across the board, have chainstays marked with L/XL. Do not know the reason for it, but it's there.
They will have to rethink it and also make a first party 28T at least if not even a 26T. Unless they are going 13spd and...

As the first glimmer of the 32” era dawns, the Industry’s evil plan for 27.5 comes to light: the leftover 27.5 rims are to be stamped and converted into 120t rear sprockets for the new dominant Big Wheelers.
Has anyone heard rumors about when the Yeti "ST" might launch?

A universal modular dropout standard would be cool if it was workable.

Did this get posted yet? 32" superfly, spec, geo chart, etc. Assuming it's correct obviously.
469mm chainstay, 776 front center. 1.65 f/r ratio on a large... wow. I kind of think this means you'll be able to pedal through more corners.
Mega bb drop, 70mm. It's like the bb is about the same height above the ground as before, just way lower than the axles now.
Standover quite rough. 785, on paper much higher than like an epic, but not that much worse (1cm) than the supercaliber.
30T chainring. I wonder if 32" wheels will make SRAM rethink the 32t minimum chainring on quarqs.
Oh yeah, and a 32" SID.
The link loaded for a second but I can't access it anymore. Man, that thing was hideous.
I love the chainstay length but they can keep everything else, especially the 32s. Give us that f/r ratio on a 29er!
Sorry for worlds worst geo chart. Not my fault, I swear!
Bike industry: 32" might make sense for tall people!
Also the bike industry: Lots of small and medium 32" frames, no XXL frames.
With looks as a deciding factor for bike sales I predict low sales...
IDK, looks like a bicycle to me...
Also curious about this. Wondering if they keep it as a 120/130 bike, possibly with a 140 fork up front for a lunch ride version?
I feel like it being a 130mm rear puts it too close to the MT, but who knows! A 120 with the sixfinity could be cool.
Yeah, it's been hard to get used to seeing negative rise stems on xc bikes. It's only been over a decade...
It’s a grower, not a show-er
Some poor 5’5 XC racer is gonna sit directly on the tire and go OTB on the first drop they hit
32” wheels will take this to another level
Looks about right for Lebron, so it must be AMAZING on the Small and Medium frames.🤣

32" gravel is so out of date, we're doing 36ers now
That's an XXL 29" Sentinel and it looks tiny...
