That´s why I´m guessing a top male rider (and Kolb is a top male rider) won´t make much less than Vali.

Seen as Vali's salary is likely 3-4 X that of Kolb's, I'm sure she doesn't mind having a graphic welcoming him to her team giving him prominence.

We have entered the part of silly season where people float (and debate!) wild speculation that a 42 year old Dan Atherton returns to downhill (last result was 57th at Crankworx in 2018) on a new rubber band bike to chase a $100k podium. Rachel Atherton is coming out of retirement for the 100k lol, the bike is being built, and she's probably the most capable between men and women on taking it. Sure it been awhile since she's raced, but I'm guessing she could still be first on race day if she put her mind to it.

Apparently 100% is only going to specialize in eyewear in the future. According to rumours, the sale of helmets, protectors and clothing will be minimized or even discontinued.

For the last 2 years of my bike shop ownership for me in Wellington, the Orbeas were my biggest selling brand by a long way.

Danny was doing a meet and greet thing at the bikepark I worked when he was at Saracen......which they spectacularly failed to advertise. So I basically spent all day being his personal chaffeur/hang out. He has possibly the driest wit of anyone I've ever met, super down to earth and does not tolerate bs. Top lad.

I don’t believe Canyon are hurting much. They have a stacked field of roadies who are several times more expensive then anyone in MTB. Might just be a change of strategy to focus on a few big names, similar like YT did a while ago
