Getting a car sponsorship would be so sick, but I got a chuckle out of him saying he's been "dreaming of driving Volvo since he was a kid" (more or less). Volvos when I was a kid:

It's our fault, our as in the social media consumers, the audience. Watching a 30s video has become tedious to a lot of people, it's instant dopamine hits that count these days. Linus from Linus Tech Tips recently mentioned that if he does not cover the gist of the video (the actual results of the tests) in the first 30 seconds of the video starting, he loses audience. The slow buildup to the final crescendo of the results is apparently gone. Which is a shame. I for one will be watching Neko's videos like a hawk!

This one's a bit ropey but it's fun to speculate when you've been isolating alone for 8 days.

When was Breeden on Intense before? IFR? Chain reaction? I don't remember that one. Also, y'all got any more if them press releases?

I don't really care one way or the other, nor am I triggered. I'm also not judging the models. They're free to do whatever they want and make a living however they see fit. I'm all for legalizing and legitimizing the sex worker industry, in all honesty. What I (and I think most others) are critiquing is the judgement of these boys in putting together the calendar and that it's pretty out of touch with the imagery that the industry (and sponsors) want to associate with.

I don't think anyone is mad about seeing pics of "chicks." I think that people are questioning the judgement of a group of male athletes who were putting out a product based on the objectification of women, in a sport that is trying to equalize women's role as participating athletes, not relegate them to arm candy and "monster girls."

Have you ever seen a lady in a thong? How about a dozen of them reluctantly swooning over a bunch of dirty bike racing knobheads? If I'm looking for naked ladies on the internet, I have plenty of outlets that don't also include a bunch of ratty bros. That these goons think anyone wants to look at them says it all. Both the photos and the promo video clips from the shoot are peak cringe. Those of us with daughters are probably more sensitive to this type of nonsense than others, but we should all be willing to call this...

Before seeing the video, I assumed he probably crashed or made a big mistake to miss a gate and that a DSQ is a bit harsh. But after seeing the video, 100% correct decision. If that’s not cheating, then what is?

FWIW regarding the Pole, I vote grass with the funky lighting around it (making it look like a crack) is caused by light reflections from the yoke. You can see the reflection on the seattube as well (it's lit up from the yoke). The reason for that is that if there was a crack there and it was shaped like that, it would be opened outwards and really wide. That would mean something would have to puncture the frame from the inside (something flat) or the frame would have to be opened up. If the crack was there from riding...

Not a rumour but I wonder if Bernard will replace Emilie with another female rider? If so who? My money would be on Jess Blewitt as he seems to like antipodean riders who are good at multiple disciplines (I hope Jess is going to be OK after that horrific looking crash by the way) I personally think that all teams should have at least one female rider but that's a different topic.
