I re-read this post and couldn't understand what you were trying to say. Not to mention your response seems filled with unnecessary vitriol over someone just mentioning a persons name. Judging by your response I can only assume that you're harboring some deep seeded PTSD from him crushing you at the local beer league endubro. Which I do personally feel like that might be worth seeking some help for as it's never good to cary such such a burden mentally. All that besides, I'm glad you feel like Evil's 435 rear center is what you want in a size XL...

Aston and Cahal have their quirks but calling them mediocre riders is complete BS. Both of those guys rip. Also 435 chainstay on a modern XL mtb is a joke IMO. Especially for a frame that costs $4k.

haha, I bought Dean Lucas wilson from that Era, This was his 2014 worlds bike. I'd like to think Stevie touched it in some way. Cool trivia is this was a mule for the 27.5 bike, proto linkage, coil boxxer world cup. Best bike I ever owned.

It was amazing during my time with Marzocchi how many times I had to explai that raising the oil level did not mean changing the oil weight.. I would say raise the oil height by 5mm and 9 times out of 10 the response would be, "I put in 10wt oil.." That air space was a secondary spring. So, yes, adding oil was the same as adding a token today.. The absolute best was seeing a cartridge split open when someone decided 20wt oil was the answer.. Pushing peanut butter through a pin hole.. Unless the market gets over the...

You guys should take the arguing to PMs so you can effectively yell into the same echo chamber. In here, we should discuss upside down suspension stuff. You know, "Stranger things, season 4, forks and stuff"

2025 Rampage already! i've been doing cleaning and maintenance on some stored bikes lately and it struck me that i've had the McGarry Tues for 10 years now. Quite happy to read that Paul Basigotia is doing well these days, since his healthcare fund was the reason for the YT auction at the time.

When cleaning contaminated rotors I boil a pan of water and dish soap on the hob (use an old pan, or feel the wrath of your partner) and leave the rotor in there a few mins bubbling away. Got the tip from the yeti race team mechanic years ago.

I have had a much better success rate using a stiff bristle brush with dawn dish soap on rotors then anything else. Spray the rotor down with water, scrub away, spray down with water to clean, let air dry. I cannot recall the last time I have scuffed/sanded a rotor. Pads can be hit or miss salvaging, I have found...

Didn't PE buy majority share? Or no? And Markus was brought back in as CEO? Unless I'm missing other sources for his personal income, of course, I don't see how this dude's ENTIRE persona is double fisted red flags on fire waving around. Unless it's one of those deals where every single thing is fake/rented/staged to give off that perception. Which is STILL two red flags waving just they are not on fire this time... I feel like finding a CEO who did nothing could somehow be better than what this guy is doing to this company. How much benefit...

I'm sure I'll get hate for this, but I'm not sure a dh race is the place to bring your dog. I've had enough issues with trail dogs (I feel pretty strongly that most dogs shouldn't come along for the ride and aren't as great on the trail as their owners say they are) and not sure massive crowds full of yelling, screaming people is the place to bring your dog.

I have been running a Eddie Current Fr (trail/ultra soft) for a couple of months now, replacing Kryptotal Fr (enduro/soft). My go to tire has been Magic Mary (trail/ultra soft) for a while but so far in the loose over hardpack that is the summer riding here, I have been really liking it. The cornering grip feels a bit less...
