It's steep AF, with a bunch of off-camber sections, awkward corners and rain in the forecast. Not too worried.

6/27/2023 9:45am The new sections look pretty gnar, honestly. I've walked the old track many times and was always in awe at everyone as they raced it at speed. I'm stoked to see how they handle the new stuff.

Val di Sole is here and it's the last World Cup DH for a while. This is the place to keep up on what's happening at the race. Free, Live Race Streams (we're using GMBN Racing's YouTube live feed as they've seemed more consistent than UCI MTB World Series feeds. Note that race start times are slightly different on the two channels, so we'll update if necessary as the live streams approach.) FFS!!! We had this with wheel size for too long and now we’re doing it about reach. Pick a size and be a colossal DICK about (pun intended). Can’t we just grow up and allow people to choose. There’s plenty of good objective opinions on every side of the fence.…. could we please, please have another thread for reach opinions… on pb preferably

Both are more powerful than MT5s and you can still use whatever pads you want. If you want best bang for your buck brakes got to go Hayes.

Did a brief stint at Magura UK. Done it all. My MT7s have the chrome borecaps from an MT5e, for example.

They plan to have a battery life of about 3 Month. So thats nothing i would consider as a negative aspect. It‘s so much more worth it to be able to have more travel and be able to put it on pulling-lifts, not chairlifts only! I always need a rigid post for those parks…

Dual crowns won't lower the loads on the bushings, thus won't help the binding much. The benefit is the small difference in the crown twisting which otherwise slacks off the effective stanchion angle. Going really slack the best solution would be either roller bearings (Lefty style...) or a linkage fork.
