Ahh yes, the seal friction of air with the weight of coil. Didn’t cane creek already do this?

When you don't have the bridge it's not only the steering torsional stiffness that is important. You also have to balance the forces left and right. The spring only acts in one way while the damper always oposes movement. The way the axle gives torsional stiffness also impacts how well both legs travel up and down at the same time.

Interesting, for some reason I assumed that smaller brands like EXT, Cane Creek, or Push for example would want their stuff back to service and send off to another media outlet for review/test purposes. Kind of like how the auto industry has press loaners.

Pads retract based on piston seal rollback, not on master cylinder volume. It's a common myth, one I believed until I started deep diving into brake bleeds because of persistent issues bleeding brakes. Here's a video explanation: https://youtu.be/mPptmoy0u3s?si=t8CNIRP7x5uGnBrf

“ The amount of oil that moves up and down the hoses is solely dictated by the master cylinder.” The fluid is moved by the master cylinder, but the amount is defined by the caliper. It’s the volume required to take the pistons from retracted to contacting the rotor. You could calculate it with the piston diameters and the rotor...
My guess is that the B1 changes are probably to try and address the pump up and bite point issues they’ve had without admitting they’re a problem. I’ve given up on mine. I have over $1000 in brakes in my garage that I’m not going to ride again. And I’m not really interested in throwing more money at them in...

I wouldn't put much weight in the enduro mag test findings - the results don't make any sense. I see a few issues: 1. Shimano XTR, XT, and SLX all have the same mechanical and hydraulic power output, but the test results show them as being wildly different. 2. They also show TRP DHR evo as dramatically underperforming XTR. Having used both, this is just incorrect... 3. And lastly, XTR being next to Maven in terms of test results in laughable. XTR is a cross country brake compared to maven stopping power. Based on the wild discrepancy between mechanically equal...

I’d like to see more entry methods. Crank Bros are the only pedals where you can just slide your foot forward across the pedal and it will catch. They’ll also re-engage if you just stand on the pedal as you ride. I think that’s the reason they’re so popular with the gravity crowd despite their issues. Personally I find the...
They say “proprietary binding” but when you go to their website it says “fully SPD compatible” So what’s unique about them then? I wish more companies weren’t afraid of deviating from SPD cleats, I feel like they really limit innovation.
