4/26/2024 9:20am Eh, I'd be absolutely shocked if Specialized shows any real weakness through this period of time. While its true they have significantly discounted product for ~12 months, they also have ~40 white collar positions open throughout the world. Usually you see companies go on a full hiring freeze if there are real material weaknesses. To add, Id also bet you pull all high dollar racing efforts if cashflow is really bad. I think we sincerely underestimate the margins a vertically integrated brand like Specialized has the ability to sell at. While they may not be making a lot right now...

Mwood Added a comment about video Sea Otter Classic 2024 - The Crazy and Cool Day 1

Haven't been able to watch the video, but Schroeder's podcast was rad! It totally embodies what it feels like to be at the Otter, including the wind and sunburn. Major fomo not being there this year and this did just enough to chill me out. Keep going!

4/17/2024 11:44am Looks like option three is winning out and I agree. I guess it all comes down to, will it suck when you don't have bikes on the back? Also 1 1/4", dude what you doing. I can ship you an old 2" off my element. Full disclaimer, im not a car guy, i just mainly wanted to razz you about the small adapter.

4/1/2024 12:44pm People thought Zaugg had left the company, but what actually happened was designers at Scott hid him by integrating him with his desk in the hopes it would provide his office with a cleaner look.

3/27/2024 10:42am As a fellow short legger- I really like the sqlab 612 and active component. Lower back main is hugely minimized. Also the various seating positions are a big plus for enduro riding as you can sit upright and soft pedal without feeling the saddle up your ...

3/13/2024 11:21am You got me excited, until I went looking on where to put sunglasses and they don't seem to have a good option. That's a big no-go. If it doesn't function well, I won't use it.

3/12/2024 1:38pm Here are links to new Epics and XC Flight Attendant: https://www.vitalmtb.com/product/guide/bikes/specialized/epic-evo-48446… https://www.vitalmtb.com/news/press-release/rockshoxs-xc-flight-attenda… Disclaimer: I grew up racing downhill, and like most folks on Vital, I prefer gravity-focused bikes/riding. I pedal, but usually as a means to access descents, and I'm typically on 140mm+ bikes. Showing up at an XC press camp with flat pedals and a trail helmet was pretty comical. I figured I'd like the EVO more since I enjoy pushing bikes on descents. But turns out, I really underestimated what XC bikes are capable of, as the Epic blew my doors off. It was fun to check out...
