telluride was super short without any significant steep sections IIRC. photo of colin bailey at telluride below. i shot in 2002 and remember getting this slide back (film rules...look at the sky), and thinking maybe i could do more of this MTB photo stuff. later that day a rider crashed, her bike flew up and hit me and broke the flash off my camera LOL. i think telluride '02 was in clappin yo' dome w/ snoopdogg and pharell song to the section. had that log whoop section. most DH racers did 4x too. crazy that was 22 years ago. sorry...

The DH race will take place in neighbouring city of Szczyk, on mnt. Skrzyczne. Official course length is 2015m/403m vertical drop. https://maps.app.goo.gl/YFDRJEcVRYD6ZkBz8 The Bielsko-Biała itself will host enduro race on mnt. Szyndzielnia. the course is not published yet. You can expect a lot of loose rocks, the area is known for that. As always there is criticism about the course, mainly from Poles, but I, myself, am stoked! I'm a local (currently moved to Norway, but will be there for the racing) so AMA.

going to sound like an old guy with no vision, but i just think that downhill mountain biking (or any competitive mountain biking) will always have a limited audience because of what it is. i prob feel that way b/c i've seen the audience size stay relatively similar over the last 25 years (i have no hard data on this, just personal observations from then till now). Fun fact. According to StayAlive, the global provider for the World Cup, North Koreans can watch the World Cup. Korea (the Republic of) means North Korea now according to them. I'm shocked how many riders are on the best possible team. A stat I think would be interesting to go along with it would be best bang for the buck rider of the race. A quick look at the points looks like Gloria Scarsi at $50k and 120 points would be that pick this week. Edit after I made a spreadsheet... The best bang for the buck overall and Junior Men's was Daniel Parfitt at $200 per point earned. In Men's Elite Douglas Vieira at $263.16, Women's Elite Mikayla Parton at $300, and Junior Women is Heather Wilson at $417.

One of the cool things about fantasy games with prizes is in my opinion the fact that things can be won by people in places who aren't as wealthy as others and to some true fans their passion for the sport could be game changing for their riding.
