3/2/2020 1:18pm Can someone with an eBike help me understand this ad from ODI? Why in the hell do they need to advertise that grips are eBike compatible? They're grips....that go on the same handlebars found on regular and eBikes.

2/29/2020 10:41am Also, only one male rider has won a World Cup in his debut year in Elite. That was Gee Atherton at Round 3 in Schladming, back in 2004. Both Greg and Sam won their first WC in their 2nd year of elite. Nicolas Vouilloz won a World Cup as a Junior (the first ever World Cup in 1993), and then won his second race as a 2nd year elite in 1995. For the women, three have won races in the debut elite year, Anne-Caroline Chausson, Rachel Atherton and Tracey Hannah. Three women have also won World Cups as juniors when...

2/15/2020 1:36pm ...and know all the experts on The Other Site (and their endurocats) have opinions about what a pro mountainbiker is and isn't supposed to be doing in the off-season and how dirtjumping ”doesn't help at all” in downhill. * rolls eyes *

2/7/2020 1:14am This. I love racing and I'll get wrapped up in the drama in the moment, but my DH racing days have been over for a while. Guys like Matt and what they're doing are what I strive for now. I'll watch every video he puts out before I worry myself about team recap vids. Except WynTV. Give me that all day.

2/7/2020 1:12am Commencals recent streak with their race winning Supreme is working well on the sales front at least here. Seeing a lot of them and for good reason, it's a great bike at a great price. In the good old days with cars it was "race on sunday, sell on Monday" and that somewhat is true in the MTB industry. then you have Paul the Punter with more sponsors than the SC Syndicate and he can't bleed a set of brakes or Jump a double so what do I know lol

2/7/2020 1:10am There is Jack's interview on The Other Site that keeps cranking ”articles” out of this thread. My take between the lines: - Gwin can screw a team's vibe up pretty bad 🤢 - Intense had the most fun team out there and they decided to kill it because of above primadonna; oh, and money 💩 - Cannondale's cock is much smaller than it used to be 🤫 - Jack is REALLY diplomatic about his ”choice” 🥺 - when you don't have much to choose from, you accept a change of discipline too 😔 - enduro is actually killing top-level downhill...

1/30/2020 9:01am Thomas Lapeyrie winning the marketing this year. --------------------------
Following the announcement by Thomas Lapeyrie of his premature ousting from the pro enduro race circuit, the large number of reactions and support gave birth to the idea of Rider.404. Born from a “system error”, this rider exists solely thanks to the immense solidarity from the passionate enduro community. The first that come forward with support were the pro riders, they themselves often faced with the offseason rider's market where sometimes injustice reigns. That’s why a large number of them responded positively to this project: giving a little bit of their...

1/28/2020 7:43am I really wish mountain biking had some sort of "draft day" where all this shit is unveiled at once. The slow trickle of news is making for a really anti-climatic feeling to all this.
