Keep in mind a manufacturer can’t really void a warranty. They can disclaim damage due to particular things. A warranty covers a lot of stuff. If your BB starts falling out that’s not related to fork and should still be covered. But if anything starts happening to the head tube you may be out of luck. Personally I’m a fan of dual crowns because it’s really the best solution to CSU creak. Have run them on bikes that weren’t really supposed to have one and would do it again. Especially if there was a slightly lighter option. Under normal circumstances...

A lot of his opinions are unorthodox and weird. On the other hand, he actually walks the walk with his opinions: he builds what he wants, frequently from scratch and/or with extensive modification of existing components, and he rides what he builds. I can't help but respect the commitment. Lots of people talk about what kind of bike they want; far fewer make that kind of effort to create it. Relevant? IDK. Interesting to observe? Often.

10/25/2023 11:16am I'm certainly no patent expert, but it made me think... Could this Specialized UBB patent infringe on Knolly's 4x4? Obviously a different layout, but they're essentially the same: Horst link with a secondary linkage driving a shock.

I just saw the new Altitude and I wish I could say more but I cant. All I will say is I was shock in the direction they have gone in a good way. It'll be a very interesting bike and I haven't seen a correct rumor about it yet. Stay thirsty my friends.....
