What Neko is doing is not comparable to what Zink is “doing”. Neko has been open from conception whereas Zink has just turned up with a frame. I’d wager most would buy a Frameworks if they could. A Zink, I’m not so sure… The dude can FreeSlope with the best, but “design” a bike…

They don't need to buy new bikes to make it happen, plenty of long travel bikes from a couple years ago have slightly too high BBs and slightly too steep head angles. On a platform where STA doesn't matter, just slap a 26 inch wheel out back and good to go.

No offense, but my hunch is that a $900 no-name dual crown for Surrons probably rides like a $900 no-name dual crown for Surrons. If you want to jump on that grenade to find out for the rest of us, I salute you, but I don't imagine RFloXa is killing themselves to sort out the finer points of suspension dynamics for the mostly beginner, mostly pavement-pounder Surron market in the same way that Fox, RS, EXT, or others in the high-end MTB space do.

Are these "worn out in less than 200 miles" XTR cassettes in the room with us right now? They can creak, especially he earliest ones, but I've put thousands of miles on these and don't find they wear differently than any other cassette.

Million dollar idea: every frame comes with three headtubes welded in a neat row to the front of it. Users can play around with reach to their heart's content, then use an angle grinder to cut off whichever ones they don't end up using. Or save them all for resale value. Choose your own adventure.

I really dislike that 95% of size L's have a 475mm Reach and XLs have a 500m reach. The bikes need to offer 10mm of reach adjust for those of us in between. That said, the new Sentinel looks like an ideal AM rig to my eyes.

Where the hell were you when this exact issue with this exact company came up like 7 or 8 years ago? Oh right, I remember, at the local o-ring store.

From when the 2019 Boxxer came out: "Last year a number of RockShox's athletes raced on what was referred to internally as the 'Lyxxer' – a Boxxer that was running 29” Lyrik lowers. And yes, that means some of the hardest chargers in the world were racing with a 15mm thru-axle. In fact, there were serious discussions about using a 15 x 110mm thru axle on the new Boxxer, which would have allowed riders to swap wheels from their trail bike to their downhill bikes."
