1. This guy is probably right 2. This varies too much jurisdiction to jurisdiction for us to really comment on here unless someone's familiar with the alcohol regulatory scheme of Arkansas and wants to chime in 3. most (all?) jurisdictions do one-off limited licenses for events (notably though, some jurisdictions require money to change hands for their one-off events. No free beer at all! Although to get around this, YT would hire a catering company, pay the catering company for the drinks, and then give them out). A full license is most likely not required. On another note, I'm interested...

Probably just pay a outside bartending company that would serve at events that way handle having a license to serve not the location where its being served.

I bought two on day of release and been riding it since, One alloy 8 and one carbon 9.8(one for my boy but also for me 🤣) I honestly think they are fantastic, Simple layout, easy to work on, Quiet and they ride awesome. We both found the progressive setup to be the best for us, The alloy is heavier but man it's ride feel is really nice and I think I prefer it - You can just tell its built tough aswell which has been a frustrating thing for me and alloy bikes as they never seem to last.

Not trying to derail too much but did the YT mills have bars that served alcohol? Liquor licenses are stupid expensive, seems like that would be an outrageous cost, pick a lane buds budget friendly direct to consumer or swanky experience people, they're not the same.

my first time visiting there... on the full MTB. obviously my riding doesn't even really highlight it. someone with a lifetimes set of trials skills would feel like this place is disneyland (by the beach!) skip to 2:30 for the blatant trials course...

Definitely some cool lines in the park there, looked like a great mess around ride for sure. You guys are making me miss urban riding. Big Bird were you ever on ObservedTrials.net back in the day? Your story sounded very similar to mine but on a larger scale. We had a trials group called 2 Wheel Technique that did demos...

Way to get out there and have weird fun LePigPen! My friend Joey used to have a magazine called Observed Trials Magazine back in the 90's. We had a tight crew of about ten of us that would show up for Wednesday night trials rides in Santa Cruz either downtown or up on the UCSC campus. That's where I met Garen formerly of Santa Cruz Bikes. As we got more into street riding Joey changed the name to 180 Magazine. At one point we even got sponsorship from the then new Adidas Eyeware and RedBull for what we called the...

I can't see it because I'm not an Instagram guy, but it sounds rad I wonder of any of that park is in the vid I linked. LA has had some cool trials stuff in the past for sure.

My local hardware store has an exquisite beer and alcohol selection so it's not out of the realm of reality. For a hole in the wall place they even have a decent little bike section, MIPS helmets, sealant, tubes, some work in a pinch bike tools.

My experience was similar, it took a buddy to help me and pretty much any progress we made we had to zip tie the tire to the rim so we weren't constantly losing our progress. I figured we would screw up the bead before it made it on there but somehow we did it. The bontrager tires that came with...

I've been kicking around a speed trials idea for years. Some enduro or downhill sections mixed with a speed trials section would be cooler than just a hard climb for the hard mtb league imo. The speed trials sections could use a hybrid of trials scoring methods (observed trials recently changed formats to a positive point system, replacing the dab...

As a 'semi-outsider' to MTB. Hard MTB is my favorite race format I've seen so far. And I hope they expand ever so slightly on the climbing portion and make some pseudo-trials features, very similar to those indoor enduro relay tracks or whatever that Warner commentates on. There have been great viral athletes in MTB's time... But what is the common denominator of all the most watched MTB-style videos online? Trials. That said, we all know people don't care to watch actual trials. They want freestyle trials. And that's exactly a format that fits into Hard MTB and it is...

I'm definitely under no illusion that my contusion was the same as Bruni's. I will say that I did experience the feeling of being able to ride without too much pain for 30 minuts or so after the crash and then things completely seizing up (mine wasn't in my leg) and being off the bike for quite a while once the stiffness and pain started.

I had a very similar slam at windrock, slammed my right hip. Of course the swelling happened the same way the next day, but to make it even more awkward in my panic about my member being black I called my dad because he's a retired firefighter paramedic and free medical advice is free medical advice. Was definitely an awkward...

I had a similar one... except it happened up above my waistline on my side from slamming down onto the top of a wooden wall ride. Do you know where all the blood flow and purpling eventually migrates to when you get that level of hematoma above your waistline? Yeah... I didn't either until I was in the bathroom and looked down to find my junk's coloration looking very similar to bizutch's photo. I was on the phone with a doctor friend immediately. Evidently it's totally normal... but really disconcerting.
