4/29/2025 2:27pm I guess. Been on chromag scarabs since release. Never had an issue and they feel great to me. No need to change to a lesser quality design like this

Yeah its pretty odd to design a bike that doesn't fit one of the most popular shocks on the market? The Float X is OK and yeah has more tuneability than a lot of alternatives but it wouldn't be my first choice for a DH shock

4/22/2025 10:07pm The reason is because it doesn’t fit. No dh air shock fits in the small or medium. Cost cutting for sure too. That shock is horrible for dh and had issues as well. Althonless wide spread. L and XL can run anything. This bike looks to mimic the “factory team” build they had last year racing so they used coils.

My Float X lasted a whole 2 days before it was blown up and leaking. Also shipped with more volume spacers than the manual suggested it could fit, which was perplexing. I switched it out for a DHX2 and haven't looked back. I don't believe the new frame is different at all from the last, besides paint colors. My 'previous' raw TR11 has the chain stay adjustment and headset cups as well.

4/21/2025 8:21pm Definitely was a tr-11 or dh bike. Shock was way too long for a sprie. Also the one I saw was also definitely a dh bike as the person is a dh athlete I saw on it

They also could have changed the spec to look better to consumers without changing the actual geo (lot of brands do this lol) everything else looks the same but head tube angle Or the person entering the data on the website coulda messed...
