Maybe an unpopular opinion but my feelings on inserts, o-chain, tmd... Not saying they don't work or there isn't a benefit, but have we really exhausted improvements to the underlying system yet? Only two teams have a gearbox, are DH tires and wheels really as light as they could be, no other team has suspension that looks as good as specialized, etc, etc...

This is the (Horst) linkage, defining the axle path: This drives the shock: If it's the same colour, it's a single piece. The chainstay of the horst link has an extension, to which the red short link attaches and pulls down on it to rotate the silver rocker, driving the shock.

My brain can not understand how that thing works. It looks like very minimal unsprung mass, but a LOT of sprung mass with all that links, bearings and axles (plus the gearbox), doesn't it? Anyway, stoked for the bike, for Gamux, for Reece and I am really looking forward to watch them in action this year

With Trek's announcement today, it looks like #2 "Gwin back to Trek" fantasies have come to an end. Perhaps being a part owner of another bike company was a deal breaker. All eyes on you Dan Atherton.

For me, the best trait of the Pinion gearbox is shifting gears without pedaling, or in the air. Imagine a jump or a hard braking zone into a tight corner. I don't know how is the snowmobile business these days, but they are going to sell a LOT of gearboxes (specially MGUs) in the next years if they don't have any big issues

Interesting shock mounting position. I LOVE to see the gearbox finally rising in the gravity bikes. It is going to be a real test this year, with many fast riders putting it on the limit.. BRB buying Pinion stock 🤣

Jamie Edmondson is still not signed, right? He could be a great asset to a starting team, UK based and plenty of speed on tap. First to not as has already been pointed out we have a TON of headsets and combos. @ebruner happy to help with yours specifically (or honestly anyone for that matter) but please DM me so we don't clog the thread.
