Blenki is a keen fisherman. Even did a thing with Rob Warner where they went out on Sam’s boat. Spoke to someone yesterday who knows Brook. Asked who he’ll be riding for this year and all they knew was that he’s been out riding a Zerode recently.

Oh, but I beg to differ! I was on the hill that day in Champery and it was a very very special moment. I yelled my lungs out and could not believe my eyes and neither could the vast majority of the people on location. Of course, the Freecaster commentary of Rob and Nigel shaped it for posterity, but it's superficial to suggest that Danny owes his career just to that broadcast and that's that. Come on! Re Brosnan: I don't know his situation, but here is my hypothesis. He's newly married, has a hobby farm with horses and cool shit and it's Summer Holidays here in Aus (Everyone stops working for a month lol) It's 35 degrees every day, the suns out, the beach is ready and the beers are cold! Last thing I'd want to do now is head on a 24 hour flight back to Europe on the covid tin can, shiver my balls off in some French ski village away from your loved ones when he could be eating Prawns and smashing beers...

You're probably right, but at the end of the day wasn't it his choice to cash out and sell to PON? You can't have it both ways and to me, he comes off as an entitled asshole stuck in his version of "the good ol' days". I don't know how the decision to cut Greg happened, but I think it would be smart build the future of the team around Jackson and there's only so much a brand can budget for a race team. Speculating that the budget was set, and the decision was between keeping Greg and cutting support...
