4/3/2025 8:58am I really love these projects, especially because they always prove that "retro" colourways still look great on modern frames. Every time, they make me check what the current colourways are because surely I just don't remember how good the modern colours are and no every time the retro colourway wins. Oh and RM should build that alloy Pipedream bike with...

3/14/2025 11:41am New FOX products (specifically shocks), which have been frequently mentioned in this forum, will be released on March 31. Info through the FOX distributor in Chile. Pedro Burns rode a DH race this weekend using the prototype coil shock.

3/11/2025 11:18pm Redbull and Freecaster were better for two reasons: 1. I knew how and where i was going to watch a race, no matter where I was, every single season. 2. Rob. And not just Rob, but the money Redbull pumped into him to have him learn to go from stealing Cedric;s beers in the Freecaster booth, to someone who could announce an F1 race if they needed him to. No matter his co-announcer, save for Elliot who's been a perfect match up so far, he became the official voice during Hill's Val De Sol disaster in 08 and that built...

2/18/2025 8:24pm This is crazy, but hear me out. What if the housing came out the bottom of the seat tube and ran along the outside of the downtube and then to the lever? I get what you're saying, and we're never going back to mass adoption of external routing. But it's insanity that electronic droppers are being offered as a solution to a problem the industry created and could so easily solve. It's like a horror movie when the person being held in a room realizes the door's been unlocked for quite some time and they could have just walked out.

2/16/2025 8:58am I know I'm late to this party, but the difference between a 650b front wheel and a 29" front wheel is enormous in terms of stack height. The same head tube length will be 40 mm lower on a 650b front wheel and 650b specific fork. Especially in a world where manufacturers are already running teeny tiny head tubes (90mm!!) on some size small bikes to get that stack down for small riders, a 650b front wheel makes a big difference in getting small bike geometry and extra large bike geometry into the same ballpark of body position and handling.

2/15/2025 9:55pm No yeah for sure the posts have worked better than just about any other sponsor announcement. I also found myself considering Rev Grips for the first time in years... Especially because I built a fully-rigid late last year and am obsessed with it 😅

2/13/2025 9:11am While I'm here. Is it rude to spread my own rumors? Yesterday I released v2 Digit frames. I don't have a marketing plan so for now I've just posted a list of improvements here: digitbikes.com/blog/changeblog. I'm also going to start selling a frame-only option, and an aluminum wheel build.

1/20/2025 3:52pm Jenna won as many races as Jake Jewett last year. ...and she won the Women's Elite New Zealand Continental Series race this last weekend beating Sascha Earnest who by many accounts is a podium threat for this upcoming women's World Cup season. It's fun to pretend she's only around because her and BK are together, but I think a tough couple seasons for injuries made us forget that she's actually pretty fast and was a Junior World Champ.

1/19/2025 11:47am Who gives a shit about how reliable rivians are, anybody's thoughts on EVs, etc, in this thread we should almost always be stoked when non-industry sponsors (making a OEM tailgate pad doesn't teleport them into the industry guys) get in on our guys and gals. Good on her for looking outside the mainline sponsors, who are all on the struggle bus right now, and towards somebody who, for now, is swimming in their scrooge McDuck vault of VC money. Get your bag Kate! Edit: Those sunglasses upside down and two inches from her head in that photo there turn what...
