After the month long heatwave is finally over here, it was time for some engineering again. To compensate for any non linearity in the rear kinematics, I implemented a new calibration workflow where the rear wheel travel gets mapped against the rear sensor value. This means I can use whatever sensor position or mounting I want and still measure the rear wheel travel correctly. I've sold a small handful of XTR bikes this year, and we've had a fair number of them come back with broken rings. I'm a big believer in climate change, but the main climate impact of the World Cup circuit isn't plastic course tape. And how many rolls of course tape does it even take to tape off the track? I know this is a setup discussion thread, but did want to chime in on something I find interesting. It seems like everyone of the press release images has like 25mm or more of headset spacers under the stem. If that is how you want to present the bike, and hint that it's where the bars should be, then maybe just add +10 or so to your stack height. I get that people look at reach and ignore stack, but lets be honest. a 480 bike with 25mm of spacers is a very similar if not identical to a 470ish...

Here's my experience on the new Maven B1 I decided to try out the B1 Mavens after my Radics started losing pressure (both side MC bores had scratches). I previously had a set of maven A1's last season, but decided to go with the Radics due to them feeling better in the stand (I nerd out on my bike more than I ride it). I don't get it. If a grade is so steep I need lower than 51/30 on a 29er, it's too steep to be climbed up anyways. In Utah, we have plenty steep climbs, and I use 51/32
