This bike checks every box for me - every box worth of things I won't buy: holes in the headset bearings, weird proprietary shocks, lockout levers that require substantial effort to remove, unnecessary integration. Is there a market for this? Have to admit it looks nice.

Why would you want to save maybe 100 grams when you already have a kick ass wheelset? I’m running WAO with I9 1/1 hubs. They’re probably heavier than yours and I find them plenty light. Strong is my first priority though… Maybe build your rims onto new DT 240’s?

So totally simple, except for the gist of it. 
Frame attachment is everything with a floating brake mount. In the rear you can cobble it together on the rear hub axle. Like Saracen did for their factory team. 11/12/2021 7:40am Floating brakes were transformative on older Stabs - it's essentially the same layout on that Process X. One more vote for "scrap the idler, add a floating brake mount". Google "Kona Brake Therapy" to see what it looks like - compared to making an idler out of thin air on a carbon frame a floating brake would be relatively simple...

If you can't cut a steerer while its installed, you shouldn't even have safety scissors. No point in completely un-cabling an integrated steerer system to cut 5mm off a steerer. The associated costs would be stupid.

IMHO, the fact that no other riders made this mistake sure makes it seem like MVdP's fault. Disappointing, though. I wanted to see him battle Pidcock for the victory.

There goes the neighborhood.. But welcome to all of you new transplants and lurkers. The ride here is full of well calculated shim stacks and comfy bar widths. If you brake too hard you may go over the bars and get checked. Enjoy the culture here and respect it. We are just all riding bikes and having fun when it comes down to it.
