I’ve had similar experiences seeing them where they specifically shouldn’t be on multi use trails that include lots of hikers. And this is a bad thing for the Mtb community. 95% of people probably wouldn’t even notice the motor on this bike. Beautiful design, yes. Good for the sport? I’d argue that no, it’s actually bad for the sport because other trail users will group them with mountain bikes instead of a motorized vehicle. As far as helping people with physical disabilities, I’m all for them using this as a tool to enable them to also enjoy the trails Totally...

To everyone downvoting, this is an issue that should be thought about. It has a motor, which makes it fundamentally different from a mountain bike. Some of the best trails out there specifically ban ebikes. See new single track trails in Moab or toads in Tahoe. The problem with e bikes like this is the line gets too blurry based on appearance. No question it’s fun, but that’s not the point

sooo short, however, so much respect for this bike, i'm from poland and i had a pleasure to ride DC (Pussy) with marzo Z1 on 24" wheels for some time, good'ol days. Remember times, when cock was 'omg, i must have this frame', then look at the price, which was totally out of reach then (13-15 yo) And those forks, nokian tyres, sun rims, mag brakes and this long, loong saddle... man, its such a pleasure to see this...

@teamrobot isn't wrong. Robots are never wrong. What you are describing however isn't new, nor is it isolated to mountain biking. I have zero idea what the number is but my two cents worth of a guess is 95% of all the shit marketed to dudes never gets used near to its potential nor heritage by which it was produced. Dirt bikes. Mountain bikes. Snowmobiles. UTVs. Fast cars. Powertools. You name it. Most guys buy shit and come nowhere near using it to the degree it was engineered. Something that I think gets lost in the discussion is this: the majority of people who buy mountain bikes suck at riding, ride somewhere boring, or both. It's all cool if a 1280mm wheelbase and 64 head angle works for me, someone who used to be fast, but that same super niche geometry has trickled down across most companies' entire MTB range, and I've gotta imagine that sucks for most riders in most places. I have one mountain bike right now, and while I get around just fine, it's obviously waaaaaay too big for my local very-popular XC spot. Slow...
