Or the fact that he's less out of breath, despite riding one of the gnarliest dh tracks while talking the entire time, than most people are walking to the end of the driveway and back.

The rules for DH are almost as simple as saying that whoever rides a bike from the top to the bottom fastest while staying in the track limits wins, and I love it. Any type of hyper specific equipment rules like those in road racing or ski racing just limits the innovation that's required to be the fastest. If somebody wants to wear ankle weights or put oobleck in their tires because they think it's better, then they should let them. Let the fastest rider win. Shake weight in the steerer tube? Sure. on the point 4... my best fork to date is an Infinity EN.. dual crown enduro.. with it's flimsy 35mm stanchions still super stiff.. got it last july (2024)... serviced it a month ago...it was flawless..continues to be..

Can we all start pressuring manufacturers for dual crown approval on bikes with 160mm+ of travel? Maybe we can get TEAMROBOT to start listing lack of dual crown compatibility as a negative on enduro bike reviews? 😉

Finally! A proper electronic DH rear derailleur. I've been wondering when we'd be able to pay $1500 to ruin three derailleurs on the same rock in one race weekend. Can't come fast enough.

I'm not sure he does get ignored unless there is a result. This is all feeling and I haven't gone back to check but it felt like for the first part of last year he was ignored, not on Wyn TV , not mentioned on post race podcasts , not on photo reports . Then this year it seemed it was easier for everyone to just not mention it and slowly bring him back into the fold in terms of coverage . And yeah I get that if he gets a top 5 they can't really ignore him but it...

Not sure if there ever was an investigation in his case. If so they never made a statement on it. Always a tough arena as it’s very hard to prove and usually a traumatic process for the victim. But if it was ignored all together that would be quite the scandal. He got dropped by two teams. Commencal and cllctv. Seemed like canyon signed him unaware or ignoring any rumors then when they dropped him is when the rumors went came to light for the greater public. I know nothing more than anyone else and a lot less than plenty...

8/7/2025 9:56am This is a good glimpse into the future of the internet. If a company embraces AI in pretty much any capacity I’ll have no choice but to assume it’s a scam like this one because soon it’ll be too difficult to discern the bad actors from the good ones to even bother
