See Paul Aston for experiments in getting the same/similar ratios for taller guys. As a guy that is 182cm tall riding a trail bike with 1300mm wheelbase on plenty of janky right Shore trails I would say your thoughts on wheelbase are wrong. Do I want to go longer? Not for a 160mm trail bike, but for longer travel I certainly would.

I think Jackson is on a medium these days. Seems that would be the right size not a size up for him? Would love so see someone create a database comparison with riders height and bike dimensions.

Unless it's using a cartridge spring it makes no sense to have a bleed valve up there.

Wouldn’t that be in the wrong place for an RSU fork… why would you want to release pressure from the main air chamber? Or am I missing something

7/5/2025 6:20am At least the Shimano mechanism is consistent and reliable. I’ve generally had good luck with most OneUp products, but even after trying the fix kit they sent for these brand-new pedals, the unclipping mechanism still feels inconsistent. I also doubt the pedals are truly “out of stock.” My guess is they pulled them from shelves because of the known issues...

Everyone knows the only way to get your bars and levers juuuust right is to adjust them with a rusty multi-tool in the trailhead parking lot while your buddies are waiting on you to start the ride. The more exasperated your friends are, the more precise the alignment.

Can I patent the ole one eye squint? For real tho, equalizing the gap on each side between the sanctions and bars is way easier than aligning the stem with the tire.

i just want to make one last comment re: deleting pics, community etc then i'll be quiet. over the last few years, i've become very aware of how much of a privilege it is to be a part of a community that is supported by some of the best brands in our game. but the key word here is community...YOU all are the community. without you and your sleuthing, your knowledge, your stoke for the sport and its equipment, or your informed opinions, vital wouldn't be very special. with that said, if all vital does is bow down to brands...
