10/30/2025 10:57am Here's something new: major brand aluminium bikes for five figures. Edit because the Trek website is increasingly confusing to navigate:

10/30/2025 10:53am Apologies if this has already been brought up, but Forge + Bond is now a pickleball paddle company. Quite the pivot.

10/19/2025 9:13pm “I keep spending revenue from my existing companies to buy more companies, and I can’t figure out why my existing companies aren’t profitable yet.” 🤔 tough question. Maybe another round of editor and content creator layoffs will help Outside mag finally realize its hidden potential.

10/16/2025 7:45am Yeah saw that bike in the lift line this weekend at Whistler and it definitely threw me off! First thought was oh rad, someone custom painted a Santa Cruz (I love custom painted bikes) and then when he shifted, I saw the Knolly on it and got confused.

10/15/2025 11:09pm I don’t think it’s been publicized at all, but word is Cane Creek just laid off a good amount of people and seems to be feeling the overall bike crunch. I’m not sure they are at risk of going under, but they have made some significant cuts.

10/15/2025 11:08pm Harry Potter fans, of course. In all seriousness, the fact that someone at YT was manic enough to say, “...and we’ll get the Harry Potter set designer to do the displays!”, and then actually made it happen, says everything you need to know about the culture. I mean, I can kind of understand the Christopher Walken bike launch video. I'd never agree to it, but at least I sort of get it. This? HA! Nobody cares about bike displays, let alone cares so much to pay a top tier (I assume) set developer to build one. Bonkers.

10/15/2025 5:43pm What is the auction house thinking putting a reserve on those displays? Who do they think is buying those extremely specific, large marketing displays?

10/15/2025 9:20am The glowing language about the dorm upgrade being accompanied by the photo of said dorm is hilarious. Is that supposed to be the improved version? It’s also interesting that Trek claims they did an audit of GTM earlier this year and didn’t find any evidence of CBPs allegations, so who is Giant paying back?

10/14/2025 10:12am Time'll tell, but this reads like one hell of an ego self-pleasuring trip that'll end up with Fancy Designs on Mediocre Product.

10/14/2025 9:47am I think this prototype could be either a new model (maybe they bring back the driver 8 name) or a new nomad. It looks like it could be set up with a dropper and more of an enduro/freeride build. Makes a lot of sense for bike brands to go that way. Would make sense from a marketing stand point for Santa Cruz to have a versatile alloy (affordable?) bike for those riders who dont want to commit to a full blown dh rig or those riders looking to have 2 bikes in one.
