Re BK's bike. Look at the angle of the rear wheel as he lands. And the audio is muted on his POV clip in his video when he hits the drop: https://youtu.be/smvc8h3F47Q?si=EsZcoCKF79KcXaHy&t=1098

Does your couch have a 61° headrest angle and 300 psi in the cushions? I don't think so. Us real hardcore couchers need to replace our bottom blankets and headrest bearings every week because we lounge too hard. And I don't trust no carpet fiber. Only aluminum can frames.

You've never seen this course in person. You also haven't seen the footage of Dave landing in the creek and spending the next 3 months in hospital down in Hobart before he can be flown home (I have). The idea that we should give less practice time so its harder is psychotic. One wrong line and its goodnight, season over. The team were quite close to getting some of the frenchies down this year, some accepted initially but then declined after, were not going to get them down here by making it even more dangerous for no reason. The spectacle...

I'm guessing the audio cutting out on BK's video as he hits that drop is no mistake.

Looks permanently bottomed out all the way around the berm. Maybe a shock bolt or something but something looks funky with the rear end

Looks like Bernard Kerr snapped his Phoenix frame at Hardline off the board cliff drop... https://youtu.be/5Zi87e4V5UA?t=1193

Maybe instead of strapping weights to the frame to make it heavier, they should add a bit more carbon? Curious to see if Pivot is as forthcoming about this failure as they were the prototype. Especially now that they've released this bike to the public.

From all the vlogs I've seen from other riders, Jackson, Bernard, etc all thought he was crazy doing 95% laps all day, whereas they were all doing 80% for fewer laps. Apparently he was riding faster than anyone ever has in January before. Ronan was basically saying that that's where he thinks the sport will be in a few years, and he wants to be ahead of the curve. Essentially that hitting the gym and trail bikes over the winter then hopping on the big rig for DH laps a few weeks before the season is not going to cut...

Spotted in Matt Jones' newest vlog. Might be Ronan's hardline bike, based on the picture he leaked with the blacked out frame + components. The headset cup that the team has been using for the prototype matches. Mondraker swapping to SRAM?

Excited to see what Gamax do with Reece saying they want to find every bit of performance they can but i'm slightly sad they have lost the moto looking single swingarm, it was such a cool silhouette, this horst link + linkage is very busy, all it really adds is indipendantly controlling the shock and the braking forces but similar could of been achieved with a simpler floating brake arm.

I’d assume they love the detective work in here and are trading engagement for secrecy. If not, it is definitely up there with the pedophile who taunted the cops by using a stock Microsoft swirl effect that they just unswirled to reveal his face lol oh wait none of that talk in team rumors sorry

Can we give up on the Gwin going anywhere but riding a Crestline this year? The guy literally owns the company (or a part of it at least) why would he be out there promoting other brands in the same market segment as his own company.
