JCL Added a comment about press release DT Swiss Introduces All-New Complite Spokes

They look like Revolites but I guess they're a cheaper version? Would love to know more as I'm not a fan of Sapim and I have a set of 240's under the desk waiting to be built.

I don’t know if I buy this argument, I don’t think the evidence would support your characterization. And just so you know where I’m coming from, I don’t have an e-bike. I do ride my road bike about 15-20 hours per week, mostly all super easy endurance volume that supplements my mountain biking. I do lots of intervals and am generally in such good shape that I won’t ever need to buy an e bike and have no desire to. My thoughts on the issue you’re raising: There’s no way people are getting *less healthy* riding e bikes. Even with...

Yes, there's such thing as too powerful. But it's relative to your tyre (and your tiredness) essentially. Put some Shimano Saint, Trickstuff Power pas, with 220mm rotors and Maxxis Rekon Race tires, you'll see if there's no such thing as too powerful

As a V1 owner, they can redesign the shock tunnel and linkage like the V2 Druid so it doesn't eat rocks and crack itself. I'm just glad there's experienced guys locally that can repair carbon fibre holes. Better frame storage and polishing up the little "newer bike company" type design issues would be amazing. If it's a bigger version of the V2 Druid, I think it would hit everything that needs to be done.

The internet knows what a moped is. Read that second line real, real slow.

Mopeds should come with a place to stash your insulin & an AED.

You should test ride a Druid V2. Efficiency losses are well compensated with the technical climbing ability. The bike is just less slowed down compared to a horst link while pedaling flat rooty/rocky paths. And I don't even feel the efficiency losses tbh since there is no need for a lower guide. Complexity is not that high either with a bombproof idler system.

I’m sure I’ll be shot down for this but this is the least exciting new downhill bike on the circuit. I’m sure it works good but mehhh. Additionally - and I’ll really get roasted for this one - I thought the syndicate road trip videos were lame. It all seemed a bit forced and try-hard. Compare it to Amaury’s movie which felt honest, raw and imo just pretty awesome. Edit: we reached 400 🙌

A few interesting videos by Vinay Prasad on YT where he goes over two recent studies into long Covid. It turns out long term effects are no different from influenza etc and it's potentially a mental thing. Also don't forget the S1 in the vaccine causes the same symptoms as the disease, but with wider distribution.

There's nothing unique to that sort of axle path though; that's what almost all 'low-pivot' bikes (without a super low BCool do. It'll almost certainly pump better than a high pivot, but you definitely won't get the same off-the-top smoothness, as the "rearward" portion of the trail isn't nearly as rearward as anything requiring an idler. Plus if you look at the axle paths posted by @carlinojoevideo, the Tues and Sender actually do a better job of the "rearward, then far forward" axle path than the Demo (if you want to get technical, it's mostly because their links defining the...

Interesting that they have a burly and xc/trail suspension platforms on the bike in different photos. Will be interesting to see if it reaches the public with different options and if one model may be up forked for a more aggressive geo. As far as ebike hate I got none for the bikes. But that said the vast majority of ebikers where I live are the worst. But to be fair they were the worst when they were on trail bikes with trust forks too.
