I think it is pretty easy to tell that Bruni' s mind was somewhere else when the hot seat guys saw Gwin's crash. In fact both my wife and I commented to that effect while watching the live feed.

4/23/2018 8:58am There's been talk that Gwin and Rude have been on the juice for years. Who knows? I'm no fan but I think he rode really smart yesterday to not flat. Probably his most impressive win IMO. Minnaar seemed to be doing the same before he flatted but maybe he was gambling with pressure a little more. Stoked for Luca Shaw...

Stack on the Evo is higher than a Scott Genius in the low setting so nothing too crazy.

Strange to comment on the short headtube on the Evo when you have the option to use more spacers or higher rise bars. If the opposite was the case riders wouldn't have an option to run lower than the headtube length dictates and you end up flipping stems like Graves to try and get a lower bar height.
