Manufacturers are doing every single thing under their power to deceive the authorities and hide electric motors in plain sight so they can just sell the living shit out of them and the forests will be covered in motorized vehicles hiding in plain sight. Sorry, but with a spread between bikes of 5lbs, $4000, 40mm travel, Recons vs Minions, & piggyback vs straight shocks, this isn't even a remotely cohesive test field. If this hodgepodge is all you could swing in this supply-chain-challenged time, fine, but please don't pretend you're testing a single class of bike. Weights, costs, & travel need to be far more focused, & all bikes shod in identical test tires to properly level the playing field.

Glad to hear the Rock Shox manuals are good and being used. There's a big team that puts a lot of effort into them.

Huge thanks to that team, I appreciate them. My Jr. Techs however, hate me for using them lol. Every shock or fork they touch, they need to have a tablet with the appropriate manual open and take it step by step so they don't miss a thing. To easy to get comfortable doing them and miss something small on a slight different shock when you're doing them regularly. On the customer side it's a huge advantage to say "Yes, I can have this shock done for you in 2 hours and save your road trip you've been planning for 6...
