So he wants to patent te ability to move the main pivot along the seat tube? Geez the US patent system needs to die a horrible death as soon as possible. EDIT: No wonder why that patent got rejected...

That long seat tube does look awful. I'm always grateful for being 5'8", to be able to have nicely proportioned bikes. But I guess when you're tall it might look normal.

Lol. Running rulezman stem means sizing up, sizing up on a banshee means super long seat tube.

There's a shop in Portland (Can't remember the name.) that has a very service forward business model. They hardly sell any complete bikes. They sell coffee and beer and offer a more one on one experience with the mechanics. Sort of like a ladies hair salon where you build a more personal relationship with your mechanic.

have you ever heard the saying "if you have to ask how much something costs then you can't afford it'? That's Push's motto, they're all about exclusivity and outrageous prices are part of that. I'll stick with my Zeb with Smashpot, it feels amazing!

Holy cow. So we're talking about 2.5k freedom moneys if that is the case. Somehow I don't have a ton of faith in the fork for that price given how much their 11.6 shocks cost and performed compared to other boutique brands, such as EXT. Even a harder sell given the state of the market - fox and rockshox have sales going on forever.

Anytime a brand starts doing consumer direct that is the sentiment. Has yet to be the case. Spez, Trek, Intense, Yeti and so many others. Same was said when Canyon and Commencal started to expand globally in consumer direct. That said, hopefully shops will begin to evolve their model. How they react to more brands offering consumer direct will determine their futures.

meh you can talk about ultimates as well, still not that powerful. https://enduro-mtb.com/en/best-mtb-disc-brake-can-buy/ according to this test, all details are in the link, with a given force to the lever equal to every brake in test code rsc were "producing" only 70nm to the rotor, meaning that the ultra powerful maven being 50% stronger would be 105nm, so still less then a direttissima, let alone a maxima. Enduro mtb is working on another of these tests i'm super interested in with the new brakes now on sale.
