Dropouts concept makes me excited (seeing plus 0 in photos so hopefully these bring some looong chainstays home) but damn that head tube length feels like low stack bike... uh oh. Fingers crossed for release (assuming within a few days).

So I have some feedback on the 120mm rise handlebar (10º backsweep, 5º upsweep). I ran it with the same setback of 35mm (straight line though the middle of the ends of the handlebar to middle of stem) which I was running on my 90mm rise handlebar. I run a -10mm stem. I increased my rear spring rate up to 325lbs from the 300lbs and backed off my low and high speed compression by 4 clicks (one click from fully open) on my fork. I think you've got rose colored glasses on regarding the Amflow frame. The v1 got a lot of criticism for being very flexy, particularly in the rear end. It had the dubious design choice of a yoke-driven trunnion shock (Vorsprung says in their suspension design manual that if you end up with that design, you should "put down the bong and start again"). Slapping Fox suspension and Transmission drivetrain on it isn't some genius product manager move - almost every bike out there does that these days. New rumor. Canyon has a press release (which was revised afterwards removing MG) that at eurobike they'll have a long travel mtb with a prototype Avinox labled 'MG'. Might be a gearbox motor combo.

I recently picked up an epic evo with codes on it, and was like holy fuck how did we ride these on DH/enduro bikes it can barely slow down this 28 lb XC bike on hiking trails. Came home and put some dominions on the next day. It’s honestly more shocking that a few people didn’t switch over mid season.

the more ebikes get sold, the more a shop can earn through just replacing the faster wearing parts. set the service interval in the software to 1500-2000km and you have a steady flux of people coming who want the service symbol to be gone again. even easier when financing those bikes. in germany, those contracts come with mandatory service intervals over the whole time the contract runs (usually 3 years).

Absolute stunner of a build! I've been wanting to try riding one these. Even been tempted to get a Starling Spur to also test out an offset gearbox set up like this. Looks like a great time on the trails
