I wonder if they consider routing the cables through the upper headset bearing a hollistic solution? For me its shithousery and should be punished by being beaten with a pair of vintage z1 bombers.

While I got certain aspects of your point (we can all agree that people lack decency when talking on the internet), I have to disagree for the rest. For sure it's a shitty situation and having money or not does not erase the trauma caused by an assault or a theft. But we need to stop this fucking trend of asking money from the average joe because you are well known and will trigger their sensitivity. Let's be honest, if tomorrow I am mugged and my belongings are stolen, I doubt you will take me seriously if I come to...

Re the Demo, This is where the tubes are going roughly, so there has to be a chonker BB part that also deals with mounting the lower pivot and likely the linkage. I'm not ruling out the possibility that the chonker BB part begins right in (or even above?) the cover in order to mount the shock as well. The shock looks to be fairly parallel to the down tube given another pic showing the bridge and the dials of the Ohlins. As far as the linkage is concerned... If the bottom pivot that we can see on the...

Looks like an similar construction as a Athertons bikes, with carbon tubes and alloy/maybe ti junctions. Pretty different thing in Spesh! The linkage I think can be like an Norco with an upper link… just a guess

Did you take a look at the air spring? Fox often puts a huge amount of grease on the air spring which can influence the fork's behavior badly.

That list of cons should not have received an "outstanding" rating....

Yeah it's still a custom tool even for two piece calipers. Conveniently it's an angle that taper mills exist in so it's just a matter of getting most of the upper portion of the flutes ground off so that it can undercut. With a single piece caliper it would have to be a ground down dovetail or something entirely custom. Both of those are definitely trickier to source, but not impossible. Decreasing MC size gives you higher brake line pressures. Code levers hit 3000 psi easily as is. I would be hesitant to increase that further considering there's another upside...

Re machining calipers, - piston seal groove geometry is interesting. They are not square. About a 7deg taper on the outer surface. The top edge usually has a shallow angle chamfer to help control how the seal flexes outward. On a single piece caliper you'd need two different tools to cut the grooves. One for each side. Not the end of the world, but more custom tools. Custom ground stuff is a pain. - calipers aren't very wide so regardless of whether it's single piece or two pieces the length of tools isn't an issue. Except for the drills... -...

Really miss your post race slide shows with interviews from Sven, Borris ect. Felt like that was some of the best insight into racing we had. Wish they went with a freeski world tour type of event/filming. Run the race and film it all Saturday, release to public Sunday with a well edited race video to watch with commentary.

Enduro is arguably the most accessible and popular form of mtb there is right now, the market is after that do it all bike and here is the platform to showcase that on a grand scale. The bikes are so capable now and truly do pedal well that you could just have that 150/160mm bike and ride anything. The whole race on Sunday sell on Monday pun really does come into effect here so manufacturers will/should put their best foot forward with a presence IMO. But here is the sticking point, the official coverage/media is shithouse! The platform is there...

Let us remember.... But yeah, EWS coverage these days is pretty bad – but not Unbound Gravel livestream bad, that was horrendous. I was watching that with my nephew on Saturday and he said "we already saw this part" to which I replied "no, it just all looks the same." Excited for a World Cup weekend!
