Strange to compare this to the ZEB and 38....Wouldn't it be comparable to the 36 and Lyrik? You also forgot the DVO Onyx. I've ridden an EXT and while it was very nice, I felt the Onyx was a bit better in every way, but that's just me. It was also a lot cheaper which is nice....Great to see so many good choices out there!

11/16/2020 9:41am Been on this post for a few months now and can echo the review. It's reliable, well priced, and just works...The travel adjust is super easy and a nice feature as well!

So much boring shit No custom-geo, long travel hardtail mullet titanium gearbox bikes? (Nordest cycles btw) No TRP 2.3mm rotor brakes? Ebike/DH inspired. No DVO onyx love? There’s a coil for first 30% of travel..plus the ebike single crown version has 45% more bushing height than a fox 36..DVO is wayyyy ahead of the game. No Ochain love? The spider attachments that dramatically reduces pedal kickback on your bike...? (Won world cups this year) No RXR R-Pro air-inflated chest/spine guards? If you slam hard enough the guard will actually ‘blow off’ and act as a crumple zone...intelligent. Refined. No mention...

5/22/2020 3:39pm This is just my opinion, and I completely get it if I get a lot of heat for it, but it feels like the DHF is becoming what the Nevegal became - highly praised and widely loved, but too many other good options started popping up to just stick with it for traditions sake. It’s a tough problem to have, having so many good choices.

5/22/2020 3:37pm I've been on the new e13 for a while now and gotta say I'm not going back to Maxxis. My last 3 Maxxis tires had the wobbly casing and I had to deal with warranty. Huge pain in the ass. The e13 Mopo compound is wearing much better than the last MaxxGrip I had, and man the e13 have insane grip. Maxxis is far from the end all be all. Choice is good.

Milkman55 Added a reply to Best front AND rear tire
3/31/2020 3:47pm Yup. Been running them for a while and absolutely love them. I found the Gen 1 better than Gen 2 (Gen 2 is good just a bit more slow rolling), but the new Gen 3 tires are the best. They moved back to a slightly rounder profile and the new Mopo soft compound is the grippiest front tire I've used...
Nice review. I've been on these for the past 3 months and love them. Tons of grip and super tough after numerous rock strikes. I was a big fan of the originals as well, but happy to see that these are thinner and lighter, and that the unnecessary spin control is gone.

1/31/2020 9:18am Great looking bikes. Nice job Commencal! As for the wheel comments below, me and my buddies have been on the same E13 LG1 DH Plus wheels and the've been awesome. WAY better than the POS Stans I was on before...

Milkman55 Added a comment about feature Vital MTB Face Off: The Best Flat Pedals
1/7/2020 2:27pm I've been on the new E13 Plus pedals (I had the original pedals and loved them) and I'm super pleased. Insane grip and super solid build. My last few pedals developed some play pretty early but these have been solid for many months now...They've taken some nasty rock strikes and came out unscathed as well. I'm a fan!

Milkman55 Added a comment about product review TRS Plus 12-Speed Gen2
12/10/2019 12:23pm Been using this cassette with Shimano XT 12 speed shifter and derailleur and a KMC chain and it works great. My hub didn't have a Microspline freehub available, and I didn't want to buy a whole new rear wheel, so this solution was perfect. It's also a nice chunk lighter than an XT 12 speed cassette. Highly recommend!

Milkman55 Added a comment about feature Discover the All-New Shimano SLX and XT 12-Speed Drivetrains, Brakes and More
9/19/2019 12:36pm If you buy the SLX cassette, shifter, chain and derailleur it costs about the same as a high end light weight 11 speed 9-46 cassette (like E13), but you still need the driver, and you'll end up with a heavier drivetrain (by about . half pound). You could buy a Sunrace cassette too if weight isn't an issue (they are heavy though). Changing to GX Eagle is also an option, but will add a bunch of weight and be more expensive. Those reasons above is why I stayed 11 speed with a wider range cassette!

5/22/2019 8:37am I've had 2 pairs for about a year. Still trust them more than the RF and SRAM carbon cranks I broke in well under a year. I agree the older cranks were sub par (but no worse than the early SRAM X01 carbon cranks out there that broke a ton). The new cranks released this year and reviewed on PB...

5/21/2019 12:15pm Gotta love the hypocracy... Do you want the truth or not? You can't be mad that he didn't want this posted and then also mad that once it was posted he gave the details of the story which involved an error on the part of his mechanic. Maybe he didn't want it posted because then he would feel obligated to give the details of the story... Which ultimately would have to place blame somewhere. You guys just seem out for blood on his sponsor. Human error is real. Parts breaking is real. Get over it.

5/21/2019 12:01pm I shoulda been more descriptive and explained things better in that initial comment so that I'm not having to go back and clarify now. I answered a lot of these same accusations in the other responses I made on that same Instagram post but I'll give ya guys the goods too. I was just frustrated honestly. I had just got a message from the guys at Mountain creek who took the video respectfully telling me that they weren't going to send the video around, which was kind of them. One of the guys had sent it to someone else and...
