4/11/2022 4:32am I blew a Charger bladder and although I did quiet a bit of lower-leg services I ate up one of the stanchions' coating after 4 years. The other stanchion was totally fine. I think the problem was a little too tight of a bushing.

4/9/2022 2:41pm Definitely Canyon. A lot of mtb magazine bike testers were there and one of them posted a bad ass Canyon-team-Sprinter. Don't know about Fox. I guess it is the new Strive release

4/8/2022 3:40pm Re Forestal, as far as I know CG is one of the investors. I might be shooting blanks here, but I do seem to have it rooted in my memory that some Russian money used to be thrown around as well? Don't quote me on that one as well (might be a PITA for the company these days if true). In any case, Forestal and Production Privee are part of the same group with designers stationed in the same building. Regarding CG's tinkering, as far as I'm informed, it's a custom Bafang unit optimised for light weight, which makes the...

4/7/2022 10:23am Looks like there won't be a light casing SuperSoft option available sadly. I'd love that combination for my hometrails as well

4/7/2022 10:21am Whilst the new Conti names may be daft, Red Bull have outdone them (quite literally) with one of the names for their new sunglasses range. "Each of the four new models (Dakota, Daft, Nick & Jayden) benefit from a wide field of vision thanks to the mono shield lens shape."

Yes they are folding bead. Conti tires always have been pretty strong for their weight

4/4/2022 9:46am "Descending the bike is very quiet with the normal noises expected from rocks and trail debris hitting the downtube of an aluminum frame." How about chain hitting the ground noise? I know people like to say tongue-in-cheek that SRAM's "clutch" is just a strong spring, but it sure seems like the NX clutch is pretty useless in that pic next to the "Rear Suspension" section, with the chain literally on the ground.

3/30/2022 11:27am I really don't like that. Especially for lighter riders like myself, a Lyrik is more than enough in terms of stiffness for a 170mm fork and I find it less fatiguing than these overly burly Zebs

3/30/2022 11:24am Why would you want your steering elements to be moist? I think the word you're looking for is "damping".

I know we're in for a grand spectacle and I'm SO eager for the racing that's upon us.. But boy what I would've done to see a return of the legend between the DH-tape.. Allright that's enough off-line and what isn't, back to what is: RACING!

3/25/2022 2:55pm "Most riders have only had 2 runs and we're 5 hours into their practice session." Yikes. There's only 5.5 hours of practice on day one and 90 minutes on day two. Okay squad, who's ready to get out there and qualify?
