Saw the new sixfinity yeti pedal bikes out on the trail yesterday. My guess is they weren’t ridden by yeti employee’s and maybe some shop riders as one of them had a shop jersey on. Makes a good chance they are coming sometime 2026. They Look super clean

I had the team at Cane Creek help with suspension setup and tuning. The Tigon is stellar! The progressive spring helps smooth out most of the small rocks and roots throughout the trails in Pisgah without bottoming out hard on the serious drops, jumps, and boulders on the downhills. I have the second setting basically set up as a lockout for the long gravel grinds. Haven’t had a chance to take it up for any shuttle runs yet. But; oughta be able to add air to the Tigon to handle bigger, harder, faster downhill hits.

Let’s not let the OG rumors thread saga end talking about folks saddle nose angle preference. In the nature of rumors: - heard rumblings from a brand that makes a flex pivot XC bike of pushing the flex pivot into larger travel aka trail categories. Could be a replacement for the tallboy. Bringing the Blur LT back? - spotted a production looking fox 40 in the wild - generative arch - regular sticker kit and gloss - new 40 and 38 release before sea otter? Back to back days like the 36 and 34sl?

I miss my old Yeti 5.5. 140/160 and weighed 29lbs with a coil shock (XL). Bring back 30lb all-mountain bikes!

Wishes for 2026: Looking to buy a light trail bike in coming months so hopefully one of those 3 happens: New SC Tallboy gen6, hoping for frame weight under 6lbs / 2700g, travel increase to 140mm front /130mm rear wouldn't bother me too much but would prefer it to stay at 130/120mm Yeti SB120 with sixfinity suspension, I have no interest at all for their switch infinity system that require proprietary bearings and frequent maintenance. Since this has been one of the most prolific threads on the site, thanks for anyone who got things going, kept us informed or on the hook, or tossed everyone off the scent of that's was really happening until it did. And thanks for the Vital crew for switching to a yearly thread like team rumors.

1. No Strava. I toyed with it last year but I didn’t do a single Strava ride this year. Never liked bikes more and never rode better. 2. Shuttling. Rode for years with a crew that didn’t like shuttling but a friend dragged me into it just this fall and DAMN DO I LOVE DRIVING BIKES UP HILLS. 1. Riding on a regular basis again. My first few years with Vital I didn't have the best work-life balance. Managed to log the most time in the saddle I ever have this year (based on strava, which is lyf3) 2. Mechanical Transmission. 1) Teaching my partner how to ride! She decided she wanted to try so I slapped her on my big bike and have been chasing her all around the blue flow trails of Van Isle on my gravel bike for a few months now. I’m so proud to see her make rapid progress outside her comfort zone AND see the supportive vibes from other more experienced riders at the trailhead, good job guys

Thanks for the kind words! I haven't tried the Motives yet, and while I've heard great things about the Dominion T2s I'm not sure I'll ever go back to two pistons. Now you've got me curious about those Piccolas... I'll be sure to update this review with points of comparison as they arise.

1. Learning how to jump; as an ex-roadie getting my wheels off the ground was scary AF but once I got it OMG, so fun (and still so much to learn!) 2. A. Having multiple running bikes with 26” wheels, steep head angles, front brakes, knobby tires, a chainguide and gears.
