New thread each year like the race thread. Pin it to the top section. Jan 1 each year force the start of the new thread and un-pin the old thread. Seems simple. Kinda scratching my head how one thread with 1000 pages is more resources than 10 threads with 100 pages. Content is content and traffic is traffic is it not?

As someone who just doesn’t have the time to scroll through the front page of the Hub for new and interesting posts/threads all the time, I can’t say I’m overly excited about this decision. I really liked having the most interesting topic all neatly packed up into one single thread, which I could follow and catch up with the discussion every once in a while. Won’t be as easy and convenient for me to follow under the new format.

32" front and back is only gonna be unequivocally better for people of a certain height or better, and peeps gotta keep it real in that regard. With the technicality of modern XC courses, a 32" wheel for someone too short is gonna be a liability I.M.O. We need a new term for 32" front 29" rear. How about Mega-mullet?!

As others have shared in this thread, the unknown six bar bike was spotted all the way back in 2023, before the newest Yeti bikes with the latest cable ports launched. To my eyes, the cable ports on that new mystery prototype are a dead ringer for those old SB165 cable ports. SARCASM MODE ENGAGED: Did you even read the thread before posting? Disappointing.

Sad update, knowing its not sorted yet (and how messy the end obviously would have been). Would love for him to do a random enduro+DH program akin to Rude and Melamed's end of season but... Understand how impractical that is. Especially traveling from where he is. But glad he's been restin up and getting some paddle outs. No better place to reset the mind then waiting on Poseidon to send you a set...

Okay so a 435 chainstay is short for both a size small and an XL? This makes zero sense. That size small is going to ride similar to an XL with a 460 chainstay. So they’ve got a massive rear center for a small and an tiny one for an XL… Is this really that difficult for people to understand?
