Everyone designing bikes can rest easy knowing AI hasn’t caught on yet. The closer you look the more your head hurts.

I think only the main Pivot has diffrent Position. So you only need one chainstay length Wink

Probably the venues. As we're seeing, climate change is affecting snow seasons in European ski resorts, so they'll be allocating more tourism marketing dollars to MTB. They have the need, the infrastructure and the budget to bid. The bigger question IMO is why aren't more locations round the world bidding to host world cups?

What I find confusing about the new Stumpjumpers is they offer it in a coil version with a 27.5 wheel and they've corrected geo for the smaller wheel using the upper link just like with the previous Stumpjumper, which significantly reduces progression. So the most linear bike in the entire lineup comes with a coil.

Transmission, it's weaknesses, and "solutions" for those weaknesses all seem kind of insane to me. Hey we have this little uvula looking thing on the back of frames which the derailleur attaches to. Usually, derailleurs aren't that expensive these days but just in case, it's meant to bend instead of allowing the derailleur to break. Because our frame is made of steel, we can usually just bend it back for free! How nice! Since we moved on to alloy/carbon, we had to make the hanger its own item. We went with aluminum alloy so it's stiff and light, but if...

And you thought they had one before? Come on, no one is buying this thing outside of OEM unless completely out of mind.

I think it looks awful and definitely going backwards. I don't like anything Scott is doing, but the current Gambler is one of the best looking dh bikes out there right now.

If the response on the other site from Propain is any indication that some companies do read these forums, I see no reason to hold back on things we feel strongly about. Seems to have worked in getting Propain to ditch cable tourism. Maybe there's still time for SC to re-tool their moulds and ditch cable suicide.

if really wireles only they will lose a lot customers… most people i know only buy frames and are re-use their existing highend parts on a new bike.

A deep dive on the other site had me find this unreleased article. Can't click on it but surely it can't be far away I'm unable to tell whether it's mechanical or wireless, apologies for the poor quality screenshot.

Theres zero need for a 6 pot brake. I'd wager Shimano won't make one. There 4 pot is plenty powerful just needs refinements like pad contact and no wandering bite point of doom. A thicker rotor would be good from them though.

No performance benefit on 1 lab test conducted by 1 magaznie. In real world the Maven's are just super powerful. One "proof" that comes to mind is number of reviewers stating you can "rotor down" on them, which I think is a good indication for their power. It's not something I remember seeing in most brake reviews.

This starts to be a bit of witch hunt. No one knows anything but everyone is already a judge. Maybe time to move on. As posted above, France has a strong law system and if there was a crime committed, it will be prosecuted.

The adverse publicity just from the allegation may have been enough for them to let him go. I would have thought he would've been charged by now if the police (and the prosecution service) believed there was a case, seeing as this goes all the way back to last summer. From what I've seen he hasn't been, although I don't know if laws on confidentiality are different in France to the UK. I say this because a guy I know was falsely accused of rape, was charged and named by the press within a couple of weeks of the accusation...
