3/21/2024 1:55am 7000 series can absolutely be welded. All of Knolly's bikes are 7000 series and I can confirm they are definitely welded, great piece of kit too

3/18/2024 1:23am Too much antisquat might prevent squatting when pedalling, but will in turn cause the bike to rise when pushing on the pedals. The end effect is the same. Pedal bob.

3/5/2024 1:19am Can we get past the idea that everything has to be the same, but also different. Look, if its not for you, its not for you, but could be for others. I have XT's, Code RSC's, and have spent time on TRP DH EVO's. I prefer the RSC's full stop (pun intended, but only after proof reading) I do not want the light lever feel of TRP's or XT's. I find them vague, and prefer the required force to pull RSC's Some people like different things, so lets stop lamenting that SRAM didnt make a brake for YOU, but instead...

12/22/2023 1:56am Great idea but not new at all. That already existed 15+ years ago and e.g. Syntace offered it for their bikes.

12/7/2023 12:48am I don't think you're correct there. In that sentence, Rob is talking about SCB (Santa Cruz Bikes) not the Syndicate. There is recent history there.

10/24/2023 9:18pm Whenever I see something like this bike, it gives me horrible Proflex flashbacks. Leave it to some motorcycle engineer to come up with this because his bro with a E bike asked him to do it. Nobody’s even mentioning how the geometry of this thing is completely buggered now. Remember when 29er forks all sucked because they had the trail measurement/crown offset completely wrong? Also, dual shocks?

6/5/2023 12:15am Pivot have jumped the gun with Fazua with the intention to be the first bike out with the system and get ahead of other brands in hope to sell as much as possible. The problem was that Fazua ride 60 system was not really ready for prime time. After some critical updates, including a new (better) remote I hear the system is much more reliable and works better (smoother power delivery). All in all it's a real shame customers are the real testers and the systems are'nt as bullet proof as they should be.

3/17/2023 1:06pm Sometimes I don't get the hate Sram receives. We are all arguably on better bikes and better drivetrains because of their push for 1x. One of my favorite bikes ever, the Kona Process 111 was able to be created because of 1x systems (Kona unapologetically designed it without the ability to run a FD). Color me a Sram fanboy if you'd like, but they aren't afraid to shake up the status quo with new innovations. I have AXS on my Spur and run the AXS reverb on 2 different bikes and absolutely love it. I can't wait to see the...

3/8/2023 12:22pm jesus wept, The amount of whinging from you lot on a forum specifically about tech rumours and innovation is astounding to me. Primoz, man, like I said, theres tonnes of brand new XX1 out in the world, go buy it so you no longer have to worry. I can only assume you have tried AXS on your mtb, strangely everyone Ive spoken to that owns it, absolutely loves it. Ive seen many online complaints, but I dont put too much stock into that, cause often its people weirdly expressing opinions about something they know very little about those of you...

10/7/2022 10:28am I don’t think anyone’s trying to hide the links between Santa Cruz and Cervelo but as far as XC hardtails go those two frames look nothing alike. Cervelo top tube and seat stays run in-line, it doesn’t have the kinked seat stays and cables run through the headset. Plus the geo numbers are different.

10/4/2022 11:23am One odd thing with the Oso... 155mm of travel with a 60mm stroke shock and 170mm of travel with a 65mm stroke shock would mean that last 5mm of shock stroke has an average leverage ratio of 3. Having a leverage ratio around 3 for the last little bit of travel while the average leverage ratio for the first 60mm of shock stroke is 2.58 would be very weird. So it likely has more than 155mm with a 60mm stroke or less than 170mm with a 65mm stroke. Or the leverage curve is shaped like a U, but I think...
