Charlie Murray is the most notable Enduro athelete that I can think of on the Stumpy Evo. He did a head to head video between the Enduro and the Evo. The Stumpy won out on timed runs. I thought the Nicolai Nucleon 16 looked a bit "busy" with the idler and rear LAL derailleur, and maybe it's the angle/lighting, but this Slash with both pulleys, big chain slap guard, long rear fender, chunky seat tube, shock mount etc. brings me late 90's vibes too. It probably rides great, but with the swoopy tube junctions and straighter/angular rear end, the lines don't flow that well IMO and it looks a bit "unfinished" in the industrial design department. In front of a white background with studio lighting, it would probably look more finished. My 0.02$.

Are we all pretending that Kenda cut THAT big of a check to AG? I seriously doubt it. The irony of AG selling a brand is that the brands get some marketing traction, but they almost get too much singular attention for ANYTHING good or bad to do with him. A dozen Maxxis riders could come rolling down on flats and nobody immediately points out it's the failings of the brand & not a line or setup by the rider. AG comes down on a flat Bontrager, Specialized, Onza, Kenda or Vee....it's witch hunt time.
