I don't know about smart, but I know it's shtty of me to act like I can read people's minds. I don't really know how people are thinking about this. But it comes up a fair amount and it seems like the next logical step for everyone who is measuring bike stuff. The questions we can see being asked about bike performance seem totally legit to me. Which PB bike test bike gets up the impossible climb fastest? Did my lap times improve when I changed tires? Did the rider of the DH bike with the tuned mass damper experience...

This is basically why V&R Racing exists. To help cover the travel costs for junior (women) WC racers. (We kept Taylor Ostgaard on for an extra year in Elite cuz she's just so frickin awesome.) We'd love to expand and help more racers, but for now, we'll stay focused and try to fill the need. We'd love to see more sponsors like us helping fill this gap. We'll throw a little teaser out since this is the rumors thread - our next sponsored rider races for Gravity Collective.

Exactly, it's pretty cringey that a bunch of grown-ass men are dragging this kid on the internet just because an anonymous rumor says his parents are kicking in some cash to give him a chance to chase his dream. The kid obviously has some talent and happens to have parents with higher than average means. How is this different than sending your kid to an elite ski academy? Reece on Gamux is exciting - gonna get that $100k!

I actually recorded a podcast with Asa today to chat about his first season racing World Cups—the highs, lows, lessons learned, and all that good stuff. Got to ride my countershox today for the first time: There‘s definitely a noticeable change in how the front end rides and tracks, not comparable to anything I could achieve with suspension setup or something else. The front wheel is in contact with the ground a lot more times and it takes the harsh impact out of big compressions. Only did a couple runs but keen to try it more over full days when arm pump becomes an issue. I want to try to make a mount for the rear swingarm to try how it feels on the unsprung mass...

I'm not sure about the rest of their operation, but I recently purchased some components from Paul and there was no plastic in any of the packaging, including the tape. Small gesture, but I appreciated it.
