I've really been loving my V2 Guerrilla Gravity Gnarvana. It shares many similarities with the V3 Transition Sentinel in terms of geo like the 450mm chainstays, 430mm seat tube length on size 3, 347mm bb height, 160mm rear travel, 1273mm wheelbase. I also own a V2 Sentinel in loam gold and I feel like the V3 Sentinel combines the best parts I like between the Gnarvana and my V2 Sentinel. The resell value on both my bikes probably would help cover cost on a new V3 but it is nice having the Gnarvana as my enduro bike with DHX coil...

^My Meta V5 has a headset that will accept routing or not. (There are knockouts, or "doors" you can use.) The frame has the grommets and I'm using those; no headset routing for me, either!

Their enduro team was done last year but they graciously kept me on board for this year with my contract having another year on it. Sounds obvious of course, but the bike industry isn't always so giving. The DH team took me in and I had a blast all year long, which was the main reason for doing DH at the end of the year. I just wanted to hang out with the team some more, and who wouldn't take the chance to race World Cup DH while they can. As for next year, stay tuned.

Switched up my light trail bike to Forekaster 2.4 Maxterra front and Ikon 2.2 maxxspeed rear. Honestly blow away how much grip this setup has, both braking and cornering. The local trails are all mild cross country loops, but still these tires kinda rip.

Sorry if my sarcasm was a little too thick in the last post, but cutting the junior class is a mindboggingly terrible idea for the sport, and can only be justified as a cost cutting measure for feeding the beast at WBD. It's baffling to read news like this and wonder how these ideas ever get approved. And then I remember, "oh yeah, it's not about the sport, or the athletes, or the fans, or for the sake of 'sport' in general. It's about wringing as much money out of the sponge as WBD can, even if they ruin the...

fwiw, adam (the "money guy backer") was at the venue every day moving lumber, signs, cords, spray paint, dirt, tools, boxes etc. he was covered in dirt like all the crew, in addition to hosting riders for meals and gatherings at his home. he was anything but hands-off.
