Agreed. Downtime goes Downhill is awesome and Chris is really great as an interviewer. Pre/post race episodes are great. He builds rapport with his guests really well so it often feels like friends talking. I don't expect him or anyone else in mtb media to ask the hard-hitting questions; they all have to be careful not to piss potential advertisers...

Peeked the prototype sixfinity Yeti SB160 while on my ride today. Didn’t get the greatest look as they were being sneaky-sneaky with it. I chatted to the product manager (who was on SB140) a bit, all he’d divulge was that it was the SB160 and that it’s a “sweet bike”, while the guy on the 160 was hiding in the bushes. But what I saw was a vertical shock orientation, and frame storage door, looked sleek AF and could be close to production ready...

I listened to a podcast with Gee Atherton recently, he said something about Red Bull Hardline that I thought was really interesting: "We want it to be in that situation where the riders are turning up, walking the track, they're nervous, they're like, because in my eyes, that's what like glues those riders together. That's what like knits them together...

Thank you everyone for the solidarity. Update for today. Attempt number I don’t know what anymore I’ve lost count. The friction of rubber on gorilla tape is like it has glued itself the the bead of the Tyre and it takes me over an hour just to get the bead of the Tyre to move away from edge of the rim and drop into the rim bed. I’m so sweaty I look like I’ve just got out of a pool and my thumbs and forearms are no longer useable body parts. I work in concrete construction everyday and this is...

New Atherton is unrideable in any size under a 495 reach. I wish they'd get someone who knows ANYTHING ABOUT BIKES to design these things! These fuckin' jokers have never ridden a bike fast or needed stability on a technical move. Just another brand who knows nothing but follows the crowd. https://www.pinkbike.com/news/first-look-atherton-a150m-is-their-additi… p.s. I don't actually feel this way. Just...

I've really been loving my V2 Guerrilla Gravity Gnarvana. It shares many similarities with the V3 Transition Sentinel in terms of geo like the 450mm chainstays, 430mm seat tube length on size 3, 347mm bb height, 160mm rear travel, 1273mm wheelbase. I also own a V2 Sentinel in loam gold and I feel like the V3 Sentinel combines the best parts I like between the Gnarvana and my V2 Sentinel. The resell value on both my bikes probably would help cover cost on a new V3 but it is nice having the Gnarvana as my enduro bike with DHX coil...

^My Meta V5 has a headset that will accept routing or not. (There are knockouts, or "doors" you can use.) The frame has the grommets and I'm using those; no headset routing for me, either!

I think they only ever did headset routing on the TEMPO. They might have done some on the ebikes as well but I literally do not look at or take notice of ebikes willingly so I wouldn't know (other people can ride ebikes and I have no real issues with 'em but I have no use for one, no desire...
Raaw Madonna has a 455mm reach and 650mm stack in medium. 480mm and 664mmin large. Commencal Meta SX V5 has a 460mm reach and 638mm stack in medium. 480mm and 642mm in large. Those bikes are definitely two options I'd be looking at if I were looking for more stack height in that enduro category.
