8/11/2024 7:15am They came out in sympathy with Europeans and decided to subsidise us when they saw the prices for Fox suspension this side of the pond. 😄

7/30/2024 1:05am A Propain employee was on Pinkbike saying they read the comments on their bike reviews and they got it wrong with headset cable routing as everyone didn't want it. So kudos to them for listening.

7/29/2024 1:38pm It should just be the first production run they sold out. You should be able to pre-order the shock. I have one on my Dreadnought V2 and it is.... Very good. Like.... holy shit is that shock good.

7/22/2024 5:25am Current enduro is more mini dh than actual enduro bike, its super capable but its too much of a bike for a regular day out and the fact that even factory team does not race with it tells you enough. Before they had stumpjumper evo to fill the gap but with new stumpjumper that gap is even wider now so it makes sense to bring enduro back to full enduro :D

7/21/2024 2:36am Isn’t it funny how this is a known issue yet nobody gives shit to Specialized for the amount of failures while other brands that have a few broken frames here and there ( that get replaced under warranty) takes shit for years and years?

7/15/2024 9:58am Apologies for tater cam. New Ripley spotted today. Reach grows. Same design as the HD6. In frame storage, mullet chip, no other adjustments seen. Claims made: The Ripmo will share the same triangles with a different shock and yoke. Build weight XT/Fox Factory/Ibis Carbon wheels/ DHR II and Dissector 28 lbs.

7/10/2024 1:27pm Even 45 pounds for me is starting to push it. My Chinese carbon SL ebike, with a decently powerful bafang motor, 410wh battery, 170/155mm travel, is 42 pounds without pedals. Selling a "budget" SL ebike for $6000 is tough when $6000 gets you a decent full powered ebike thats spec'ed much higher. Its like your friend that you took biking once and they loved it, and are trying to get you to find them a "decent bike" for $600 or less. If you can't budget $1000 minimum, its kinda not worth it for serious riding. All these "budget" SL ebikes...

7/3/2024 2:32am 105 Nm and 120 Nm with boost, 800w battery at around 20 kg bike. It's kind of insane. What were the rest doing?

6/23/2024 3:57pm I should have been a bit more clear- I think the new stumpy that’s coming out is going to be fine if it has a yoke. The new shocks are tougher too- all brands. Older designs (bikes and shocks) are more fragile for sure. Monarchs were/are super fragile and had a high warranty rate. I think that is fairly well known. Keep complaining- some companies read this stuff!

6/16/2024 2:35am I’ve always understood less damping = more tire traction at the cost of chassis control, bottoming out etc. always within reason of course- a pogo stick will bounce off the ground and lose traction. The race tech suspension bible had some good graphic representation of that.

6/4/2024 1:30pm I’d rather walk than ride a road bike. Gear boxes, or at least the benefits of them, make way more sense to me than a derailleur. The disadvantages in climbing, shifting speed, weight, etc seem negligible. Aside from the grip shift, because that is an absolute no-go. Like putting a thumb throttle on a dirt bike.
