A friend of mine in the Industry told me that he had heard from one of the reps that Orbea was withdrawing their US presence (at least in terms of inventory) due to tariffs. It was one of the reason's I bought my 25' Wild as I was assuming I wouldn't be able to get one easily next year or especially at a discount like it was right now. That would all indicate to me they aren't going to suddenly put a bunch of money into a North American based racing effort if they aren't even trying to sell more...

The 13-14 year age difference aside, the really problematic part for me is the fact that he was/is still her boss, and that relationship began when she was a teenager. If he was her teacher or coach at school and they started dating shortly after she graduated people would be up in arms. How is this any different?

I dunno, even if you get a deal you still have to maintain it, keep it roadworthy and store it for the majority of the year. Maybe it'll change, but I don't see enough money flying around in the industry for that to be justifiable right now.

If Vali is looking for a new ride at the end of the season, she's got to be one the hottest prospects on the market.. It will come down to who's got the room under the tent and space in the budget... She will be a big pick-up for someone..

i don't have any numbers but la bresse in '08 was mostly packed on both sides of the track, the lower you went the deeper the crowd was standing. similar thing in les gets or lourdes, not so much in loudenville though i just don't see the same amount of people lining the 1199 in the steeps on the upper track. maybe in the lower woods and the open field, but not where it is really steep 2011 la bresse had not so good weather, but there was still a huge crowd, just look at them during fabien barel's run...

Martin Maes also is a good bet. When he won in La Bresse is similar pig shit conditions. @brash I hear ya. All though a lot of people say riding well on dust is just like riding in mud. I wouldn't know im from the PNW. But also Adelaide also has a bunch of clay as well, right? Which makes for the worst, slickest mud in my opinion. So he might be used to it as well.
