Another option would be to allow WC pros to race but exclude them from the UCI/WC qualifying points. If WC pro wins a race the qualifying points go to the first non-WC pro.

I had the same thought. It seems like if you are on a MTB World Cup Series team you would not be allowed to race. Which a lot of them do for "training" etc.

Apologies if this has been answered, but I dug through the press release and this thread and could not find anything. Are riders on the top World Cup teams allowed to race continental series races as well? In my mind the answer would be no to allow up and comers to gain max points at those races, but I don’t see anything stating that.

Dating someone on the team you own and manage is bad enough, but the fact that he first met Jenna when she was an underage junior racer on his team is beyond creepy. They conveniently started dating the first year she was in Elite. It is an overused term nowadays but that is the definition of "grooming".

I could care less. But dating a girl who was 17 when she joined your team shortly after she becomes legal, while she still is a part of the team, is pretty questionable and wouldn’t fly in a lot of businesses. Hell plenty of companies would not let you date an employee as a manager if they were 10 years older than you. The age gap just increases the power imbalance. Ultimately if they are happy and stay happy good for them. But there are a lot of young women who get used by irresponsible men making false promises who...

The announcement of an Americas series with no schedule could be why pro dh series schedule isn’t out yet. Edit: Looking at the ride rock creek date on the uci site it looks like monster pro dh is the continental series or a part of it.
