I think the real problem stems from discussing non-athletic, personal life things when the person being discussed is a dedicated, lifelong athlete and the discussion is happening in a space dedicated to the discussion of that athletic pursuit. Hey DH community, We are working to add some west coast events to USDH by hosting a few casual UCI C1 races at our ranch this October. It’s fun (and challenging!) to put these together and we hope everyone is excited to come camp and race and support the series. Please spread the word. If you want to have more than one child past the age of 35 and any past 40 there is generally a good amount of effort involved to hedge your bets. Over the age of 35 is technically a “geriatric pregnancy”. However it is a route that is increasingly common especially for women with high end careers like tahnee. There are also plenty of career women who have traditionally taken a break from their careers or effectively retired in their late 20s and early 30s to start a family. The Name to Know: Mack Manietta Fifteen-year-old Mack Manietta from Pemberton was the story riders and spectators alike were talking about at the bottom of A-Line. Mack had a great race at the Canadian Nationals last weekend, winning the U17 group with a time that would have won U19 and would have placed him 7th in the Elite group. I don't know if the U17's raced before or after the older groups, so no way of knowing whether track conditions changed much during the day. Still, in a couple of years Mack could be making a splash in World Cup...
