It’s not supposed it’s in the rule book. Teams have to be registered by Nov 15th including who is on the team. No set date for when the teams get announced by the UCI. In the past it’s been a month after the deadline but I would guess it wouldn’t be until Jan 1 when current contracts expire.

Resident Korean resident here 1. Things to do on bikes... RIDE!!! The race weekend is also the start of the bike park season locally. There are three parks within an hour of each other, two within five minutes. Alpensia Bike Park is literally right next to Yongpyong. The parks here a different from Europe, smaller and still growing. Wellihilli is further west at lower altitude and has fun runs. You could also ride in/near Seoul. We ride year round here and the outskirts of Seoul have some fantastic singletrack. Even some rock slabs with epic views on the eastern edge...

I'll be following along closely! You're a huge asset to your sponsors. If for no other reason than to demonstrate how a setup might or might not differ for a smaller-stature human like yourself who absolutely rips and can win any race of the season.

Their enduro team was done last year but they graciously kept me on board for this year with my contract having another year on it. Sounds obvious of course, but the bike industry isn't always so giving. The DH team took me in and I had a blast all year long, which was the main reason for doing DH at the end of the year. I just wanted to hang out with the team some more, and who wouldn't take the chance to race World Cup DH while they can. As for next year, stay tuned.

One Up put on a local dh race k. Squamish yesterday. Diane Jewett took the win by 12 seconds over Jesse Melamed. Most of the local WC pros are enjoying the off season already but Gracie swept the Grom race. My kid was filming and said the crew that did the US monster series is doing a race recap vid.

Hi all, I'm the 'Gosling' being referenced in the Bikeradar article. I had meetings in Les gets with five teams, YT being one and I'll start by saying that Gunnar Franke (Team Manager) is one of the best guys in the pits running a great team with awesome riders and staff. However we (Nukeproof) don't have the budget to go from 'no team' to one of the best, and highest budget teams in the pits when today we are not even selling any bikes. I also feel that we are not the type of brand that wants or needs one...

You guys might get a kick out of this. I was checking the live timing for the Lake Placid Q2 and was so psyched to see this. My first thought was, "How great would it be if they're all in the finals?" followed by "Minnaar must be loving this." So, I immediately took a screen shot, figuring it would be cool to post it that day. Still, despite how it turned out, it's a good memory.

it's so fascinating that just tenths and even hundredths are determining so many places now. richie missing the show by .156, jewett even closer, just .039 off of qualifying. top 5 elite women w/in .360 of a second. if they crossed the line at 25mph, that's 36 feet to cram in 5 riders. it's mind boggling. and on a track like MSA where it seems like so much could go wrong (or right). 5 billion rocks to hang up on and slow a rider down, but they're all SO close. tomorrow will be a great show!
